He said the not getting to see the game wasn’t the worst part of the night it was the being alone in middle of nowhere, not knowing how he was going to get hold of anyone or even the name of his hotel, he said apart from bereavements it was the worst day of his life.
All the family are completely gutted for him, he’s been to every Wembley visit since 1956 and he misses the European cup final like that
His mate rang me 2 minutes before KO telling me we’ve lost your dad and he’s not in the ground so I didn’t enjoy a second of the match with worry

Just watched a replay of the whole game for the first time.

Jesus Christ, I'm drained again. During the actual game I was in and out of the room in those last 5 minutes and could barely watch. I honestly didn't see Haaland and Ederson getting booked. Think I was probably told but my head had gone by then.

I realized 3 things..

1. With Stones we were much more solid at the back and things got way more hairy with Walker as he was very weak aerially against Inter.

2. It also seemed that after Dzeko went off City started to become a bit more dominant in midfield.. a testament to the pressing Dzeko did.

3. And that sitter that Lukaku misses.. still required Ederson to kick save it, and it goes straight to Dias as he's running back but he still manages to turn his head and somehow head it out.

We really did get lucky in more ways than one but after 6 years.. we were due some good luck!

So happy with the result.. a complete contrast from 2 years ago when I was depressed and angry for 3 months.

Don't know how long I'll stay this happy but I sure do like it!
 
Was going to watch it again from the recording today but the $ky system has failed meaning I've had to reset and therefore wipe my entire disk. Any ideas when it's on again? Is it available on demand somewhere. I've had a look and nothing jumps out.
 
Been nearly a week since we did the impossible. Has you can guess I live in spain and for nearly 10 years and when most of the guys over here are british it can get pretty brutal like the daily mail and all other media outlets in uk. What I would like to say the spanish friends were pretty similar till we annihilated Real Madrid. And now everyone of them have so much respect for our club it’s unreal.
