Entire top 6 is in for him. He will never return. Not when others in top 6 are willing to show more faith in him. Dippers have joined Rags interested too. Chelsea and Arsenal already linked
 
Pep knows Lavia's qualities better than us. If we don't want him (now), there is a good reason for it. He's talented, but maybe not what we need (this summer).

Probably a mistake not to keep him and instead buy Phillips but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

If Pep/Txiki think Lavia is the next big thing, we'll go for him and will rectify the mistake. But we may have doubts about certain aspects of his game/personality. Mistakes happen, not everything is predictable. We sold him and won the Treble. So not a huge mistake :)
 
Not yet as fancy as Declan Rice but if we are to bring in an extra midfielder then we can't go wrong with this.

I don't think we'll go into a bidding war for him in this window.
Southampton are looking for £50m +.
More than James Ward Prowse.
I'm guessing if he is still a Southampton player this time next year then we might call in the 40m buy back clause.

Time will tell, I don’t think Southampton getting relegated can be loaded on his shoulders. Personally I don’t make a point of criticising every player we release, it’s just a personal opinion.
