Saw this on FBook today. I think sometimes we forget what a great fckin stadium we have.

100%, once the north stand and exterior are done the stadium will be magnificent.

Those aside, it is one of the best stadiums in the PL, if not in Europe.

Hoping they sort the screens out once done. It's always annoyed me how the South Stand screens were never replaced following the expansion, sometimes hard to make stuff out on the replays looking at the North screens.

From the outside it looks ok, but as soon as you walk in and view the pitch and internals, it's top, top quality and getting better every year.

The screens are long overdue those corners. I wonder why they've never been installed?

I think that's the key part.
Getting better every year.
Every August we go back and something is new.
Even if it the floors been painted again.
Or a new bar.
Contrast that to the swamp.
What a dump it's just been left to fall to bits .

The 8 spirals give the Etihad it's own identity amongst other football stadiums. The 8 spirals aside, the stadium a bit grey looking externally. Thankfully the constant and changing colourful livery brighten up a rather dull concrete and grey exterior.

But the burning question is, when are the lights on the 8 masts going to be replaced?

Hopefully they’ll go on the roof of each end like at a few other modern stadia and the corners can be filled in af L3.
