Inter Milan (N) | Champions League Final | Post Match Thread

Real respect for the Inter boys for staying to watch City's celebration. Spared a thought for Edin as he looked on. I'm sure he had mixed emotions looking on as he played a part of this journey to our champions league success.
On that "not seen" camera, you could hear the Edin song, but the video shifts to another scene while the song still rings. Our lot classy as ever.

I was right behind the goal and nipped out to get just water.£10 for 3 yoghurt cartons and guess what i missed..:-)
I had a great time Istanbul. Stayed away from UEFAs transport system so I've tried not to think about their shitshow of incompetence. Must have spent about 50 quid on water after the game. Missing the goal would have pissed me right off but we won

Yea compare this with the coverage the dippers had. Fake tickets, jibbing in ignored and a public apology from UEFA.
You forgot to mention a special hour long Panorama on BBC1 and the offer of a refund on tickets to fans. Oh yeah, while I'm at it, you mistakenly omitted the comments from from various politicians denouncing the chaos, radio phone ins on Jeremy Vines show with crying (I kid you not) scoucers and 'Jezza' conducting the whole thing in hushed, sombre tones, as if someone important had died.

Yes…best 6 days of my life all said and done.

Similar kit and colours, between them what a ride
Paul Dickov and Rodrigo, to Turkey from Moss Side
There's Ball and Guardiola and Swales and Sheikh Mansour
But it doesn't matter who's in charge we're Blues forever more
We've seen things they'll never see or even understand
All the way from Division 3 to the best team in the land
We've won the league, we've won the cups and conquered Europe too
We kept the faith and sang our songs to cheer the boys in blue
For those who saw the dark days and followed wide and far
We won't forget our journey, unique is what we are

CTID
This is fucking brilliant

We all take the mickey out of the Mickeys.
But, does anyone else think that the furore over the Paris Champs League Final, was because they lost ?
It suited everyone in the Media and LFC to blame EUFA messing up entry to the stadium, the local feral youths (think the surly Scousers got a rude awakening ?) and the delayed kick off.
This was a deflection from the inescapable fact that Madrid absolutely battered them.
This allowed the Media to ignore how poor LFC were. Conveniently forgetting that Klopp was once again a bottle merchant in a major Cup Final.
Lastly, it gave, supposedly valid excuses as to how impossible the Quadruple is to achieve.
Funny how the two 0-0 Finals LFC won on penalties are never mentioned either...

The synth opening in Depeche Mode's Just Can't Get Enough should be adopted as a player's song, sounds amazing from Inter fans.

Always the Victims.....
