Replacing him will cost +90 million
I disagree, I don’t think we can replace even at that cost. If there was a player who did even at that cost dependent on age profile I expect the club would consider it.

I'm in my 30's, so I grew up watching that side.Do you remember Pearce?
Because you sound like a twelve years old with your Hah or haha at the end of every post
We've just won the treble. Olise isn't even Palace's best player.Another Kfa
A great right side of midfield player with bags of pace.
And can you please tell me where you got the information on his attitude?
Kit?Should buy Simons if Mahrez leaves. Can probably get him for around 40m
Outstanding technic but little work ethic for me.Olise
There is a fantastic winger in the making
30m for a 33 yr old in his last year on huge wages.Despite his age £30m isn't enough, has to be £45m+ to even be considered in my opinion.
It's not a good market for wingers and the ones that are decent aren't cheap.
That's assuming we even want to lose him, I already think we're a bit short out wide and that's before losing him.

It's an incredible deal for both club and player.
Corrected but still a fantastic deal. He's got 2 years left on his deal.
And he is 32.
Harvey Barnes for me, then reshuffle the rest of the midfield to keep things bubblingShould buy Simons if Mahrez leaves. Can probably get him for around 40m
Sell him & bring back Leroy
Or lets gamble on Joao Felix as a RW
This narrative does make me laugh. As if the ridiculous money he is on now is somehow deemed as insufficient. Mahrez is reportedly earning £160,000 a week (not to mention bonuses, boot deals, advertising deals etc). I’m sure he and his family will just about manage to scrape byHe will be unhappy if we stop him going to Saudi Arabia to earn life changing money for his entire family.
Just because posters aren’t creative doesn’t mean there aren’t smart and creative alternatives out there. The suggestions of players who could replace mahrez continue to show how under rated he still is. Ward prowse, olise, felix and Harvey Barnes are no where near his level. People will miss him when mahrez is gone. Top top player
Not as convinced. If we were the buyer would think £30m is huge price for 32 year old but having watched him he easily plays another 3 years at the top possibly up to 5. Don’t think we are desperate for £30m so it would be a no from me without knowing who we would have lined up as a replacement. Think this will be down to player preference but he could wait a couple of years and still pick up big money in my opinion as the Saudi league is not going away any time soon.Corrected but still a fantastic deal.
If Mahrez leaves i`d love us to go and get Diaby from Leverkusen.
He'll be on his way to Villa
I agree and although more expensive we should be aiming for players such Wirtz and/or kvaratskhelia. It will be a lot harder to get either but that is the level we need to replaceThe suggestions of players who could replace mahrez continue to show how under rated he still is.
