The actual daily circulation for the printed MEN is under 12,000. The Pink probably sold more copies before it's demise. I would give the printed edition no more than 12 months.

I bet the Pink sold a lot more than that , loved the Pink. I wonder if any regional paper declined as much as the MEN in terms of sales. I presume at it's peak it would have been in the top 5 regional papers in the country but it's beyond pitiful now, I bet the offices are in some lock up on an industrial estate, a far cry from the place on Deansgate.
 
The App. isn’t bad for local news and is quite user friendly, unlike the website.

You still get access to I think 25 articles a week without paying the subscription.
 
I get it on Tuesday's, and Sundays, and if I'm feeling frisky I'll get it on some Saturdays, but it's up to £1.80! Robbing arseholes. I like the puzzles, and reading about who has stabbed who, who has ran over who, which pervert has been perverting etc. They had a great article the other day, the headline was "DIAS: WE WANT TO WIN MORE TROPHIES!" I thought give over Reuben.
There's a today's notable birthdays bit which I make a game out of, and the obituaries, you can guess their ages too.. when it's Ethel Granville you're best guessing about 98.. also guessing city's scores out of 10 is something to do to
 
I had no idea who she was, Moly Mae, but, like with all Google searches I do, I key their name in (man or woman) followed by the word 'tits' and click on images... She's full of herself whoever she is

Kin hell, how many did it sell in It's pomp? We used to have it delivered everyday, probably until the late 90's. Every newsagent's throughout Greater Manchester would have kids delivering after school, so almost exclusively the M.E.N late afternoon's.
 
I used to read it when I lived near Manchester but it's decline has been in keeping with the red shite rate of decline I'm happy to say.

And David Meek was a ****.
