Sowing the seeds of discontent, or flapping? You have an apt user name for repeating posts!
I wish some on this thread would. ;)Has he retired yet?
@BringBackSwalesI'm selling some zebra print trousers. Advertised price is £40, but I won't take less than £50.Who will haggle with me?
Needless back and forth discussions I guess - irony. What is the hold up?

he clearly impressed many people given he got englands player of year. I honestly think people need to get over the pillips thing he clearly isnt going anywhere whether we agree or disagree hes our player so should untltimatly be backed if/when pep plays him.Have you actually seen that? Please tell me those games (you said some, which implies several), so I can review on you tube, as I can’t recall a single one where he’s impressed me whatsoever.
As for Rodri, and others who’ve struggled in their first seasons - you could see basic talent and ability and knew they’d come good.
Haggling in independent shops is more common than you may think in the UK, and you'd probably be surprised to see how often it happens. This thread is becoming incredibly tedious haha. Any you stingy bastards ever tried haggling in a British high street shop haha?

We overpaid for Jack but it seems to have turned out well. If a transfer is successful and the team does well the price largely becomes irrelevant. Obviously in accounting terms it matters but if we pay over 100m for Josko it won't matter if in five years time he has been a revelation. Now if he was a flop that is a different matter.I see an item for £40 in a shop. I pay them £50 for it. I've overpaid by £10.

The supermarket chains make haggling almost impossible but it's worth trying if you're buying a TV or other electrical item with a damaged box or on display.
Marvelous Marvin?

You are someone. And you are willing to pay £5, and I buy it for £10 when I could have got it for 5, I've overpaid. Case closed.Any item is always worth whatever someone out there will pay.
