And I was commenting on the previous posters generalised comment about redemption and society.

Personally I wouldn't gave him anywhere near the,squad....getting rid of a player mud season and Pep saying that they would have even let him go to the rags says everything.....we were desperate not to gave him around the squad....

Get rid ASAP regardless of his qualities...

You wonder why he was ever in the academy if he's the wrong type of winger. Anyway let's see how he gets on under Moyes,, he may be able to convert him into the right "type".

You are getting hung up on a guy that had good stats in a really poor league, the level is prob lower league 1/ top league 2

He is lots of pace but not what we need or accommodate in our starting eleven

Gotcha...like I said I'm fine either way even after today, although it's hard to come away with an objective assessment while playing with that many players who aren't anywhere near ready to play at this level...

Personally think we’ve been caught off guard with Mahrez going and we won’t rush into a replacement because we’ve not done the usual groundwork that goes with finding a target. Txiki and the club don’t panic buy and will just wait it out.

Unless we go with what we already know…Leroy. But I doubt it.

Fine with it, me, if it means Foden gets more minutes out there.

I don’t think we’ve been caught off guard at all.
We sanctioned the transfer after all and at 32 I’m sure we have been monitoring potential replacements from within or transfer possibilities.

Short a DM, Winger and attacking midfielder. Too many water carriers at the moment in the team that aren't at the level, or are too inexperienced in Kalvin, Gomez, Cancelo, Mcatee, and Cole. Also too much rides on De Bruyne's shoulder to create something for Haaland.

I think it’s clear the team is going to need to find a player who can contribute to goals this season. Losing both gundogan and mahrez is a blow in terms of the goals they get.

Every window the ITKs say we have a huge budget and should expect four or five new players and they're never right and this forum never learns.

Having a huge budget is one thing.finding the right players to compliment our brilliant squad is something else.
Or should we spend regardless of quality ?
