The other unknown factor is motivation after last season. OK, Pep will be the ever demanding perfectionist but will the players have the same hunger? Not much left to go for once you've got the football 'Holy Grail '? As a veteran City fan i genuinely wouldn't be bothered if won nowt for a few years ( Except beating the Rags of course). Possibly mate but i think at this current time thats better than nothing? Not sure what his book value would be but a transfer fee, his wages gone and a squad place opened up with benefit us no question.

The club would be delighted to offload him, no queue of clubs eager to sign him, he will be expecting the same money as he's on now and only 'possible' interest from a cash strapped Barcelona = a very low fee sadly.

Not serious but they are short at CB and he would love to go back to Spain, it's very quite on Laporte surprisingly, which makes me think a deal is already done with a club, it's all waiting on Gvaridol.
