Have a laugh Ray, I get it, you can't help it, they expect you to go with the flow, but sometimes it's just... no. And no means no.

Have a look at Josko's big friendly grin. I'm not saying it's worth 100m. But it's worth something. He'll be a laugh, a spectacle, and a fine footballer and competitor. Great for this club.

I am having a laugh hence the Limbo Dance comment. I am even not being completely dismissive of Gvardiol's talents either. It is obvious that he isn't shit otherwise he would still be at RB Leipzig for another season. It is just that for me he is going to be part of a World Class team rather than being one of the best.

Bloke upstairs is a sci-fi nerd, broken nose, 40's. Bit of a wag. He looks the spit of the vogons from the original BBC TV show. Early one saturday morning, alarms went off, I was crawling out of bed. I heard his voice booming out upstairs, "People Of Earth, your attention please"

I swear have never pissed myself so much.

You genuinely don’t realise that Gvardiol will help bring us goals? His key passes and assists last season were higher than the rest of our defence combined.

Gvardiol will solve the left back and left hand side of the defence issue as in the main he seems more reliable than Cancelo but that is not we really need. Creativity has never been the issue with the team even at the back. The only issue even with Haaland is we are still wasteful. The last friendly highlighted that.

I can’t shake the feeling that we figured a way to close the deal just under the Maguire fee, but not really, because of the friendly game that was set up to reach what they wanted in a secondary way. And so something about it bothers me, that all the haggling wasn’t really about the best deal but the public perception — a projection of what we see in part of the fan base, this over importance to what will others will say about how much we spend, and how we are fundamentally seen by others. The love of “bargains”. It’s just so fucking silly, I hate to say it. It’s why I struggle to believe the faux moral superiority of the narrative that we have a value and we stick to it. We are instead being defined by others. What matters ultimately is that we sign the right and better players

you saw what messi did to him at the world cup? messi is messi but he isnt very fast anymore, i think some are being overoptimistic on gvardiol as a lb
