Impressed with City keeping the ball. Nice warm up.

Kovacic is a steal.

Arsenal two good chances while we haven’t had any but they are chasing shadows for the most part. Imagine the moaning on here if we had had as little of the ball as they have.

Result totally unimportant.

Considering we’re a couple of warm up games behind them, it’s ok.

What does stand out is we’ll be totally relying on KDB and Foden to create unless we get more bodies in.

We have done fairly well looked a little jaded when they came into the game but that’s to be expected.

Not really creating much going forward but no KDB and Phil. Definitely think we need an extra creator/winger this window.

Neat and tidy, moving it nicely from Ortega through to the midfield. Few scares with them getting in behind Akanji, but I honestly expected more from them, given where we’re both at in terms of preparation.
Obviously lacking a creative spark, but no surprise without De Bruyne and Foden (and Gundogan or even Mahrez). Kovacic, Bernardo, Grealish and Alvarez are all great at what that they do, but are never going to make masses of chances.

Kovacic is going to be brilliant for us. We've been decent in possession, some good defending and keeping when required.

Just feel we need to be a bit braver in the final third. A couple of opportunities to take a chance went begging. Would like to see Phil in the second half.

Pleased with the refereeing - hope they keep it up. It's not rocket science, if the ball is dead, and you are the defending team, do not touch it... if you do you are robbing the attacking team of its advantage. It's black and white. We've seen less bullshit from Arsenal in that first 45 minutes than we saw all last year.

There will be a really good reason why Foden didn’t start this game. Must admit it escapes me though.

Ortega, Kovacic and Rodri great FH. If KDB is not playing, Foden should play because Bernardo doesn't have the speed/the passing to break defense/create chances for Haaland.

Atmosphere is terrible, we are in upper tier no one singing at all....even behind the goal is crap not one song started...we have tried to get some going but no one interested

The coverage by ITV is shocking the 2 dummies commentating have spoken about nothing but Arsenal, they have panned to the Arse fans 6 or 7 times during the half, City fans 1
Its like watching it on that divvy fan channel of theirs just missing the fat bloke and the nonce that wears all the club clobber
