It wasn’t a case of droppping charges.
She refused to testify.
Without her evidence no conviction was possible.

Her and Gigg’s partner, same thing.
CPS dropped both.

Many women have loved their husbands over the last 1000 years even though they have been beaten every Friday and Saturday night. The Priest/Iman and their dad told them that is what happens, he doesn't mean it, it's ok, think of your family.......

Questions should be asked about how the CPS act when high-profile people are getting away with crimes that are nailed on guilty, The police did all the hard work building a case for her and all the evidence stacked against Greenwood, From what I read it was nailed on a guilty verdict,

There is no way the CPS should have dropped the case or let her refuse to testify, it was intimidation by Greenwood and the people around him and she was made to take the money and drop the case,

But what did the CPS get out of all this, Questions again on corruption? and powerful people involved being asked to do us a big favour and bury the case,

Totally disagree with that.

You only have to look at all the articles in the sycophantic, rag loving press now to see the press are doing their best to enable united to reinstate him, they're making it out as if his return is already a done deal whilst minimising and trivialising the reason for his absence to the point of erasing it from history altogether.

I would be disgusted if that was us and i would honestly cut my ties with the club. The fact they are entertaining the idea at all is despicable. The guy got off on a technicality, he was guilty as we all heard it. The bloke is a disgusting arsehole who deserves the beating of a lifetime.
 
Greenwood was charged with Coercive Control of his partner.
She then states she does not want to press charges.
The CPS accepted her request.
Did no one at the CPS think she may have been coerced into that decision ?

The CPS have a lot to answer here, sadly no one seems interested in asking them the questions and yet again, the ones that lose out are the females within society.

Glad the **** is out, really enjoy MasterChef but refused to watch this weeks heats as he's was in it.

But can you name a single current united squad member who doesn't have the typical united attitude of arrogance combined with an amoral win at any cost (ie cheat) mentality?
