That was an absolutely fantastic performance. Some might say only one nil but so many really good performances. Obviously Phil was fantastic. Kovacic is looking like a real steel from Chelsea. The new lad at left back did really well. Great finish from Álvarez. Walker excellent. And just bossed the game. Largely tight at the back. And all this when we’re still getting into our stride and missing some key buyers. Well done boys.

Very tired towards the end but we played some incredible football considering the personnel who are out.

Kovacic amazing.

We’re still in third gear really but that was very good
Foden ran the show at times and Kovacic and Gvardiol look to have fitted in seamlessly

Great stuff blues, loads of injuries, fitness not there yet and sold half the squad, but the lads stepped up to the plate, foden showed what he can do, kova looks like he's a different player for us than the version at Chelsea, gvardiol is a rolls Royce.
