Their fantastic signings, still doesn't make it a 8 out of 10 window thoughKovacic and Gvardiol are good signings.
I wouldn't disagree with any of that but, if Pep has lost all faith in Phillips, it does beg the question as to why there don't appear to be any serious efforts on behalf of the club to move him on in this window.2 signings so far have been good but with injuries and departures the squad is clearly 2-3 players short.
Desperately need quality cover for Rodri, a creative midfielder and a winger with pace. If Phillips is never going to be used there's no point in him being there - Rodri is the only player in the squad we can't cover.
Along with the players who we have given new deals to.Their fantastic signings, still doesn't make it a 8 out of 10 window though
Pep doesn't make subs in tight games either regardless of the players on the bench. We haven't signed cover for Rodri however the Kalvin Phillips signing hasn't worked out (we only signed him last Summer)You've completely disregarded the outgoings and the lengthy injury to Kev. As of right now, midfield and attack is stretched thin.
I think it's telling Pep made no subs on Saturday. He was making a point.
We are weaker at this point in time than last season, that doesn't equate to a 8 out of 10 window regardless of new deals, get 1 or two in before the end of the window and you have an argumentAlong with the players who we have given new deals to.
With the two signing it does. We already signed Gundogan's replacement. We have signed Laporte's replacement. Cole Palmer has got a chance to replace Mahrez even if Doku arrives (no guarantees and hardly make or break). 'Palmer has a chance to replace mahrez' the disrespect to mahrez here is laughable. With the two signing it does. We already signed Gundogan's replacement. We have signed Laporte's replacement. Alvarez can step up in Kev's absence. If we didn't sign anyone or even if we did move Bernardo Silva on then you would have a cause to moan about the lack of signings.
I would sooner wait until the right player comes along though'Palmer has a chance to replace mahrez' the disrespect to mahrez here is laughable.
Alvarez is not kdb
We are weaker than last year, 2 of our best players left and kdb injury, you thinking its an 8 out of 10 window is crazy, it's been an average window, 6 or 7 at push
And yet Cole Palmer is showing signs he is ready to step up. Along with the contract renewals and the two new signings it bumps it up.'Palmer has a chance to replace mahrez' the disrespect to mahrez here is laughable.

Fair enough point but that doesn't take away that our current window hasn't been an 8 out of 10, stupidity to think so and underpins kdb, mahrez and gundo contributions/abilityI would sooner wait until the right player comes along though
Than sign for numbers sake
OK mate you think that, glad our manager doesn't think the same as youAnd yet Cole Palmer is showing signs he is ready to step up. Along with the contract renewals and the two new signings it bumps it up.
Pep doesn't work with a deep squad either. He very rarely makes substitution's during tight games either.OK mate you think that, glad our manager doesn't think the same as you
Pep hardly uses his bench in tight games to begin with. Eddie Howe made 4 subs to little effect. Pep doesn't work with a deep squad either and barely rotates. We wasted money on Kalvin Phillips and to some extent Sergio Gomez.OK mate you think that, glad our manager doesn't think the same as you
We will sign 1 or 2 before the window closes as this window has been a 6 or 7.Pep hardly uses his bench in tight games to begin with. Eddie Howe made 4 subs to little effect. Pep doesn't work with a deep squad either. We wasted money on Kalvin Phillips and to some extent Sergio Gomes.
