Yes and now it seems he realises maybe he shouldnt of listened to Bielsa and made a mistake signing him and hes not the right fit for our team. So we cut our losses and sign a new Rodri deputy. We get far more transfers right than wrong. Wheres the problem in admitting this one was wrong and move on

But things Change tho and people make mistakes. He’s not a bad player he just can’t do the role he’s being asked to do. We’re not goin to play him just because we bought him and therefore he’s good to go.

Finding a Rodri deputy is the issue. We have left it late for that. Paqueta was that player and that deal has collapsed due to circumstances out of our control.

Even the best make mistakes, what do you see in Phillips after 12 months that makes you think he can become a backup for us, never mind a starter?

He is gone next season but Pep is cutting his own throat if he isn't going to use him this season and there isn't going to be another player arriving.

If we can get our money back this summer he is off in my humble, Pep clearly has lost patience, and it sounds like we will be having incommings this week.

He isn’t shit at all, he’s a good player and was recognised as Englands Player of the Year, above Kane et Al. He just hasn’t shown he is capable of playing in Peps team, he is unsuitable to play our game.

Perfect Gundo replacement but italians like their home town and don’t leave for lifestyle reasons. Tough one don’t want imagine him saying two season from now he wants to leave…

He ain’t good enough unfortunately.
When he steps on the pitch he looks like a deer caught in the headlights.
His style of play looks too safe for us, too much sideways passing cos he’s scared of giving the ball away.
Yeah there’s a time and a place for that, just not all the time.
Could he turn it round?
Probably, but he’d need time and minutes to do that, which he ain’t gonna get unless we’re 3 or 4 nil up cos ‘we’ don’t trust him.
Doesn’t help knackered Rodri out.
Needs to leave unfortunately.

This, Kalvin just coming from injury when our team already evolved in term of tactic last season leading him not being needed in our team anymore and just being considered a surplus.

Just because he isn't needed for us that doesn't mean he is a shit, he still good player that will suitable for other top team that will suits their tactic for someone of his skills set.

important to note re Phillips winning England player of the year. It was a fan vote and Leeds fans basically hijacked it online. Phillips is a very limited footballer who was made to look good by bielsa‘s system. Before bielsa Phillips struggled getting a game for Leeds. He will never be good enough for a top side and sadly was just an awful buy

I get that and if we did take his weak points into consideration we would of passed on the opportunity first time. The only issue replacements are thin on the ground for this time around.
