Frustrating half. Not at our best but should probably be a couple up. Too many players wanting too much time on the ball instead of moving it a bit more quickly. Alvarez's movement has looked the most likely to create something. Maybe Foden and/or Doku on in the 2nd half at some stage.

Move the ball a bit more quickly and be a bit more clinical and we should win this.

I called this earlier. We get lulled into this slow motion mode looking for a perfect pass against eleven men.

Grealish is taking too long to make a decision once hes got the ball the sheff utd players are all regrouped. He needs to be far better.

Pre-match concerns playing out exactly how I thought. Nobody in that side to stand up and create something. Too many players happy to keep ball and play the easy pass. We obviously should have scored the penalty but we've had 2 chances all half, one of them being the penalty against a terrible side, that is not good enough.

If foden is fit enough to play get him on at half time for grealish whose been non-existant otherwise get doku on for him instead. Don't leave it until 70 minutes before changing it, change it now. If we break them down early we smash them, if we give foden/doku 20 minutes to change it I fear we drop points here.

Too slow for most of the half and too many passages of play are having to go through Rodri. He shouldn’t be seen as the ‘creator’, so the others ahead of him have to step up and take the risk.
Haaland also needs to work on his runs. If the play is out wide, attack the front post, and if the play is near the box, peel to the back post. He’s run in the opposite direction twice and passed up decent chances earlier in that half. Mind you, if you’re being wrestled to the ground, it doesn’t matter which direction you are headed.

Sheffield have camped out. They have turned it into a rugby match. Fucking cloggers ruining the game. Maybe when the go down again they could apply to the rugby league instead?

We don't have a midfielder out there, that will take a risk, in the squad Kev and Foden are the only ones that play that risky ball in behind. Instead of side ways passing. We just miss that killer ball in behind or into the box. If Foden comes on we will notice the difference.

grealish is an incredibly frustrating player to watch. The things that he's bad at, he's SO bad at them it's so comical.

You would hope he could be the creative spark but he’s been poor.
