Not true. UEFA is based in Switzerland (not in EU). It has teams from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Turkey, Israel, Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia, etc. That is before we stray to Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia (currently suspended) and Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and certain of the Central Asian ‘Stans’. I haven’t included the likes of the micro-nations Gibraltar, San Marino, Andorra, Liechtenstein.

It all adds up to 22 EU members out of 55 for UEFA.
 
Just watching a documentary about The Cayman Islands, the Rags registered office is actually a post box in the same place where Facebook has its own postbox. Obviously nothing to see here, tax free haven but the Rags have nothing to hide, have they?

Clearly its target was never football, and even Harris says that he doesn't expect it to be upheld.

I suspect that's probably the case, given that there are so many controls on investment in football anyway, compared with most other businesses where it's apparently perfectly fine for private investors to prop up loss making companies for years while they try to gain market share.

The overall rules make some sense, in that European countries don't want to end up with one country providing aid that undercuts businesses in other countries, and costs jobs - or worse, countries end up competing on subsidies so we end up with the same businesses in the market, but they're they are all getting lots of taxpayer cash too.

Yup. Manyoo is a shell company that does no trading. Just look at that magnificent certificate in an accountants filing drawer. Biggest piece of paper in the world. Revered by billions.

I didn’t know but even the locals don’t pay income tax but are taxed to the hilt on purchases, as an example a pack of fish fingers that had a £1 price tag actually cost £8 (programme looked like it was made about 2015).

There’s a price to pay, some of the locals, mainly black carribeans live in poverty, one lady was paying £1500 a month mortgage for what was a shack, now she’s retired she can’t afford the mortgage and was being evicted. It showed a couple of Socialites who pay £1500 for a hair cut. As a British territory it’s a disgrace poorer locals have no Social Security system.

However, it’s all good for the 20,000 companies registered there who don’t pay corporation tax, how can we allow this to go on?

Because we have no say in the domestic laws and policies of the Cayman Is.
British territories have many constitutional differences between them but British Overseas Territories generally look to us for their defence and international relations but not for their domestic policies.

If it was only one country the EU Commission would have a say, regardless of whether all competitors are based in EU member states. Eg a company based in US are obligated to meet GDPR regs if they want to trade in the EU. La Liga have, or plan to, complained to the EU about PSG using state aid which affects the market This is where the loony Harris has got his story from.

It will never make the media & won’t be considered an issue, not when we can divert attention on asylum seekers & benefit cheats.

Whenever people struggling they are encouraged to look down on all their problems, not up to see who’s really taking the piss.

For some reason, I don't any more. I just think that there has been some revelation that we are absolutely innocent and are exonerated of all the charges. And that @Prestwich_Blue and @projectriver are doing some sort of weird TikTok dance as a result with a big fuck off "We told you so!" banner.

OK, maybe I should worry...:)
