Kalvin Phillips

I really don’t understand Philips as a human . If my boss tells me to fuck off , I would give my fingers and quit right there . He seems stubborn and wants to fight but pep has zero interest.
Has pep seen enough of him? is he a lazy **** who show half hearted effort during training or just not good enough? I never rated him and didn’t want us to sign him .

If they were paying you 150 grand a week? You would just quit there and then? Pmsl course you would.

Ps you would be on a contract so you couldn't just quit. It's not like leaving Asda:-)

I agree, but why give them anything to start with? I wouldn't even give them my dogs shite.

As soon as the phone rings and it's them, we should be giving them the biggest fuck you and slamming it down. (That may have happened to be fair, it's all speculation at the moment isn't it)
Well, agree we shouldn’t be giving them someone on loan. Cough up or fuck off.

The downside to this deal is that Kalvin Philipps will not be able to play for the dippers against us.
That’s a plus. He’ll fit in really well at the dippers. They play his sort of game. I really didn’t want him to go to them.

Well each their own but he could easily call his agent and look for a another club or eat 150 k a week without any game time.

As much as I agree, sometimes in business it's better to keep hold of something that isn't serving you particularly well, rather than solve a problem for one of your competitors...

...even if he's shite!
I kind of agree. I actually wouldn't mind selling him to Liverpool I don't like loaning him.

If he's successful they could well challenge us for the title and we don't get much financial recompense.
If he's unsuccessful his values drops further but Liverpool are little worse off a bit like when they signed that Italian last season.

Personally I’d keep him. He’d fit in much better with this new 2 cm system. Far less isolated
Have a feeling that could happen but have no idea when we’d see that implemented. Not this weekend, to be sure, and the international break means there is no time to perfect it on the training ground for the games immediately after. I initially thought we’d see it in the League Cup but then got handed a trip to Newcastle, though given their horrendous Champions League group, they might have to forego that domestic trophy and we could deploy it there.

I think that game and some of the champs league games with that draw could see us able to rotate quite a bit and save the strongest line ups for the league :)

Think it could also be akin to the youngsters getting on the pitch. We’ll maybe change shape if we score goals early enough and kill games off.
