Always difficult to evaluate signings who you've hardly seen play which is the case for two of them.

I've gone for a 7 but it could easily turn into a 5 if Doku and Nunes fail or a 9/10 if they were to really shine. And I feel from what little I've seen that both could go either way though with our scouting and coaching I'm pretty optimistic about two young and obviously talented players.

Really disappointed to lose Gundogan and Palmer. Mahrez and Laporte slightly less so due to their age and recent game time though they've served City really well whilst at the club.

Bellingham would have been nice and I was pretty pro Paqueta from my glimpses of him.

Let's hope were raving about our signings by the end of the season.

I’ll vote once Saudi window is closed if possible

Does 5 / 6 mean squad is same strength as it was at end of season?

Last Season was the pinnacle, and if anything, we seem to be building for the next ten years by replacing proven (but slightly ageing) quality, with a mix of experience, quality and potential.

For the moment I'd give it a 7, as I don't know whether the two recent signings will hit the ground running or need a few months

However, I'd still rate our chances of winning the PL as nearer to 9

Mixed bag but certainly not bad, lost some great players, bought some players who look like they'll be great and I'd say a couple of potential riskier signings.

Kovacic and Gvardiol look great. Doku and Nunes feel more like time will tell type of signings.

Usually easier to judge a season after the window.

Got to say I am not that bothered by our transfer business, the club generally know what they're doing and i trust them. Obviously if we get a big name or a potentially good signing, but we don't know how they'll perform under the City way of doing things, how well they'll integrate etc. This are more important than the purchase to me.

for me the period between now and January is more important, how those players are doing, where they play etc.

Wonder if we are a bit short now we’ve lost Gundo, Mahrez, Laporte, Palmer and only brought 3 in. Had hoped to see McAtee develop but feel Alvarez could be sensational this year and keeping Bernardo trumps getting Bellingham imho. Also hope Phillips can do a Lazarus and resurrect his career in our beautiful sky blue. Would be class if we got that Barco kid in last minute or agree he joins in Jan.

Hard to say at the moment as we don't know how the new signings will do and what the effect of losing the people who left will be yet.

Gvardiol looks a very good signing as does Kovacic.

We haven't seen anything of Doku or Nunes yet, but they are both the type of players we need, so overall the window looks fairly decent.

Keeping Bernardo was important also.

I put 7, but if the new signings all bed in quickly it could be a higher mark than that.

a solid seven for me. i think we did good, just wish we could've flipped sergi gomez and kalvin for two guys that pep trusts. The squad will have some holes cause pep likes short squads so, it is what it is

Kind of shocked so many people are overwhelmingly positive towards the window, we didn't permanently move on a number of players that are clearly not going to play, the Laporte fee was really disappointing and not being able to get a move for Cancelo with even an option to buy truly sucks and pretty much locks him into the club until 2027. Kovacic and Nunes seem pretty underwhelming on paper that being said the key for success of this window will be Gvardiol if he plays to his potential then its going to be a fair window, irrespective of all the dead salary we haven't been able to wash...which in fairness we have been pretty good at keeping low for the last few years.

Would've liked to have seen a permanent transfer away for Cancelo and Gundogan stay another year, but that's sort of out of City's control. All of our incomings very good, shame couldn't land Bellingham, thought he'd want to come here with Haaland + Akanji here and obviously Paqueta, but again out of City's control. Got some top fees for academy players and players who are on the decline the big plus for this window. Overall, I would give this window a 8/10.

First I put 8 but then I put 7 considering Palmer and McAtee going (understandable in each case but I'd have preferred one kore body for cover).

Who are all these players that we are wasting money on ? But also not wasting much money on that are not going to play ?
