i genuinely cannot conceive of the mindset that makes that leap, the person that wrote that really needs help.
Worse than deluded.... That's what makes it a brilliant post. It's just not possible for that to come from any other fan base.

At some point the person behind Liverpool Thought Bank will come out and say it was all a hoax that just got out of hand.

They will say that they made up more and more outlandishly piss-take "thoughts" expecting to be finally rumbled, but no matter how ridiculous, it was always lapped up. In the end, morally and for the sake of their own mental health, they just couldn't keep doing it.
The author of the wank bank reminds me of someone I worked with 30 years ago.
I ended up at a kids activity centre in the middle of nowhere in Australia (halfway between Sydney and Canberra).
Turned out it was a religious place funded by several churches.....
Each meal time the boss would say prayers and I soon sussed out that whatever was said during prayers, God was always getting the praise.... everything was retrospectively thanked for.
So a great day of sunshine was always thanks for a great day of sunshine so we could enjoy the great day you provided for us.
A day of pissing it down with rain was perfect because the camp relied on spring water as the only source of water and the rain is what we needed to replenish the water supply.....

Nothing was ever asked for..... no "dear God can we have a bit of rain please as the water supply is a bit low....." or "dear God, we've had 2 days of rain can we please have the sunshine back."

Whatever happened the prayer was said to fit the narrative that God was sorting us all out and taking care of us.
And it's the same with the wank bank. They look back at the recent game.or happening and then work it up into a positive / pro Klopp is the greatest spin.
Substitute God for Klopp in my Aussie job experience and you have the same scenario....

thats a long way of saying both the author of the wank bank and the dude leading the prayer are both fucking idiots

You haven’t had much interactions with Liverpool supporters or seen how weird they can get. There is a reason why they are referred to as a weird cult, the person writing this stuff is that brainwashed he/she is genuinely believing the stuff they pen.

i dont even class liverpool fans as the same species, the brainwashing is absolute and when speaking to them you constantly have to remind yourself that you arent dealing with humans who are somewhat capable of rational thought you are dealing with dippers who left behind the very concept of rational thought the moment they mugged someone for their first klanfield ticket

LFC have won one league title in almost 34 years and apparently this is all out fault for "spoiling the best league in the world." Aldridge, like everyone else on Merseyside, is fixated on the past.
Ahhh yes, the past....jumpers for goal posts, playing til dark then home for tea.

But on todays pressing matters I am torn. Take the money and lose 30 goals a season but gives the club another title as we will get back on our perch as "Net Spend Champions"
It means more you know!

Nope. They believe it. They truly do believe every outlandish and downright preposterous article they read. Wank bank could claim that Henderson hasn't really left the clan, but that aliens have abducted him in order to teach football to Martian Athletic FC, who are currently struggling in the Inter Galactic Space league and who recently lost 54 - 0 to UFO Rangers. They'd read it and assume they could watch the games on Sky!

54 NIL?
Have UFO Rangers abducted Erling too?

City supporters are enjoying the success of their team, those in power within the English game have allowed this dominance to happen and spoiled what was the best league in the world

City are now going for their fourth on the spin. What they have done from a purely footballing point of view is admirable, with brilliant players and a good coach, but they shouldn’t have been allowed to do this. It's too late now for anything to be done about it, that ship has sailed, and it means they are going to be really hard to catch. There is every chance they will fall off their perch once Pep goes, but it’s hard to see it happening at this moment in time.

Aldridge, or his ghost writer, really haven't thought this out properly.

If there is every chance we will fall off our perch when Pep leaves, then the only difference between City and the chasing pack is the manager, and his ability to elevate the team to greater achievements. So in allowing this to happen, those in power have failed in one thing - to prevent City from recruiting Pep as manager. How might the powers within the English game have prevented this? And what was to stop other clubs attempting to persuade Pep to manage them instead?

Seems like there has not been a failure after all.

What other way is there to look at it than purely football? If Aldridge is trying to whack City because of the money, look at their history chums in Trafford spending shit loads but going no where. Then look at Liverpool themselves, they have spent obscene amounts of money since the inception of the Premier League and only have one league title to show for it. I don’t remember anyone complaining when Littlewoods were spending what they liked (including signing Aldridge) which allowed Liverpool to dominate and rack up the trophies.

New Rules:
a) Only managers with hair allowed
b) Managers must have ginormous, gleaming gnashers that can be seen from space.
c) Slaphead tribute act managers are allowed - only baldy exception.

That'll teach us!

£215m for Salah, they'd be fucking insane to turn that down.

Unpopular opinion here maybe but if Saudi came in with that kind of money for Kev - considering his age and our need to replace him anyway, I'd be okay with it.

So would I, I wonder how much of that £215 million they get upfront? They could go straight to PSG and put big money down for Mbappe.

Listen am an ex reds fan and let me tell you there is a massive difference between a local Liverpool fan and these gloryhunting, tourist balloons who have infested my once great club. I told you in previous posts out of a capacity of 54k only 6k have local postcodes which give# you an indication of the problem, I will bet you nearly all the fans you hear spouting there mouths off are armchair, keyboard warriors who have never been to Anfield in there life, As for John Aldridge who is local.. what a player and what a fantastic career however has become a bit of an embarrassment with some of his views bitterness is not a view shared by locals I know, maybe it’s because nearly all Liverpool fans born after SKY and have only ever been fed and brought up on tales of fame and success and can’t now accept other Clubs dominance.

Not sure Mbappe would sign for Liverpool

If they had £215 million in their bank account that Mbappe and his agent could get hold of some of as wages and signing on fee I think that might help. He would be also going to a much more higher level league than France, people weren’t sure Tevez, Silva and Yaya Toure would sign for us. Money and the vision of things to come helped that happen.
