Doku didn’t track back well and it will be addressed. But your attackers are going to give the ball away at midfield occasionally and you need to be able to defend it. We had numbers back and somehow conspired to leave an unmarked man. Doku made the first mistake but imo is not at fault for the goal. There’s no excuse for our not having defended that situation better

Yes but it shouldn’t have got to the point where their guy is looking up and floating a cross in. Doku should’ve been breaking his balls to get back and, at the very least, mither the **** to death.

Pep will have fucked him up and down in front of everyone in the dressing room.

You don’t work hard, you don’t break your balls, you don’t play.

That aside, Doku played really well.

Overall we have been good, we have controlled the ball, should of scored 2 minimum, there goal was classic West Ham this season and should of known better but they are playing probably their best football under moyes! Hopefully haaland will bury the next 2

Created enough chances to be well ahead but just haven't taken them. Overall I think we've played well without being at our best. Alvarez looks a bit off it (perhaps not surprising after all his travelling) and Haaland has been unusually sloppy in front of goal.

Keep creating, sort out our finishing and we should still win this.

Walker should be retiring from international football instead he's running around like a madman on England duty these days. So much so he's fucked when he gets back to City.

The most annoying thing about this team is the capacity to beat ourselves
BTW where was Gvardiol for the goal?
Poor touches happen, it should lead to a free run on the box.
Poor all around.
Doku didn’t bust a nut to get back and Walker seemed to gamble on Eddie getting it for a quick break rather than tracking back.

Gvardiol and Doko both at fault for their goal. Shocking play.

Doku is Sterling mk.2 - not convinced he is an upgrade on Palmer. But it's early days.

Haaland missed two tap ins...

Sometimes things just don't go your way.

Phil seems to be struggling too. Seems like he's trying to force it rather than being relaxed.

Missing too many key players today.

Phillips and Nunes to save the day???? Ha.
