It’s been about Newcastle today, they’re not getting the “oil money” crap that we get.I wonder what the coverage would be like if they ever get out of the Group stages!

I think Bradford played Lincoln on the day of that terrible fire, but I don't recall the media ever caring over much about the victims these days.Does Torino go as far as this, anyone?
Because they made it very clear immediately after their takeover, that they weren't going to put up with it.It’s been about Newcastle today, they’re not getting the “oil money” crap that we get.
Agreed. The headline is misleading, but I was more highlighting that fact that one reporter, for whatever reason, felt the need to mention manchester united either to get a response, or because they are paid to follow (support) the club by the taxpayer. It's things like this that make me question whether the general population are generally stupid or it's just a case of them being so desperate for bantz that they hear what they want to hear.
Pep quite clearly was laughing at the fact it was a mischievous question, not at whether or not united are title rivals.
EDIT: I'm not calling you stupid, more the reaction to this in various places.
I love the conclusion...He’s got to be on the payroll to write and publish that. He just has to be.
I love the conclusion...
"The soul of Manchester United pretty much went up in a puff of smoke, once somebody realised the commercial opportunities that lay before them.
And since the abandonment of both the Munich victims and their families, and their own self-announced relinquishing of the claim to even be a football club, the world can see that their chickens have finally come home to roost.
Satan always gets his payment; the modern club's motto may as well be 'Saving Our Souls''.
Newcastle are getting much less hostility than we got considering they are actually owned by a Sovereign Wealth Fund (ie a state). One possible reason for this is that they are much better and more proactive than we have been with Public Relations and Communications. It’s been about Newcastle today, they’re not getting the “oil money” crap that we get.
This is correct on both frontsI think Bradford played Lincoln on the day of that terrible fire, but I don't recall the media ever caring over much about the victims these days.
I'm not sure about that to be honest. It really is sickening what these old school, Shill, Journalists will write anything to keep an absolutely shite United team and a club falling apart relevant and in the headlines. They have absolutely no shame whatsoever.
Once again the floppy haired c*nt excells himself.

why would you ask about a club that hasnt won the title for 10 years and currently sits in 12th as a potential title rival?Agreed. The headline is misleading, but I was more highlighting that fact that one reporter, for whatever reason, felt the need to mention manchester united either to get a response, or because they are paid to follow (support) the club by the taxpayer.
I was one of those fans from 10 years ago along with @i kne albert davy.To be fair I remember City going to the Munich Memorial when they played Bayern 10 years or so ago, I thought as an Arsenal fan that was a classy touch from a rival to do that and do it for genuine reasons and not a PR exercise.
Edited to add I see City did the same last season as well when they played Bayern, again, classy touch.
Especially when one of their players is an £80m player bought for £40m.If they are worth £300m and ten Bob has spent £500m that says a lot
Have you not heard? We were cancelled on June 11th 2023.Is the winners of the champions league playing tonight?
Put on sky sports news at 1pm. United, Newcastle, Bayern, Kane, Spanish kissing, Arsenal…
Is City definitely playing?
Back to a break after 6 min.
Ignoring our achievements is the new attack.
Clearly orchestrated now they can’t say…can city with billions spent and pep with no messi finally win the champions league zzzzzzzzz.
you see them doing it all the time, whenever the league is talked about, they start it by saying if we discount city whereabouts can the rags, the dippers etc like 2nd is the new 1st or somethingHave you not heard? We were cancelled on June 11th 2023.
I am sure it wasn't a publicity stunt apart from human decency Frank Swift also died in that tragedy. A fact too many City fans forget. To be fair I remember City going to the Munich Memorial when they played Bayern 10 years or so ago, I thought as an Arsenal fan that was a classy touch from a rival to do that and do it for genuine reasons and not a PR exercise.

What’s wrong with that? Would you prefer City have all but 4 players fit for their CL opener?BBC "City have 4 players out for the start of their champions league opener"
Yeah the same 4 who were out on Saturday when we beat those other European giants West Ham.
Another positive piece from Salford saddos
Not just the top flight, but the whole football pyramid mate.100 fcking %.
The American Redtops have been, and are, the biggest threat to our English top flight football.
