All that was a reaction because he couldn’t handle being fairly tackled by Gibbs-white prior to that. Fucking idiot.

Every adult in the ground knows that’s simulation and not a red card but Rodri has, by the letter of the law, given the ref an opportunity to send him off and he’s foolish in doing so.

No need to touch his neck, Gibbs-White is a **** for play acting and hope karma sorts him out in whichever way it sees fit.

The plus side (so long as we still win):

One game of the ban is a league cup match he would miss anyway.

A little enforced test is good for his long term viability anyway.

Make or break for Phillips. He doesn't perform today it's all over for him if it's already not over

people like foden need to play sensibly now. no trying to dance past players in midfield and giving it away

Pep didn't want to give him
a well-deserved break so Rodders took the matters into his own hands.

No where near him, fucking Taylor couldn't wait to dish out the red. VAR should intervene, the replay clearly showed there was no contact, but we know they won't.
The replay clearly showed his hands contacting his neck. A very soft red but a red none the less. If their player actually had a set of testicles then he wouldn’t have gone down (3 seconds after the contact) but Rodri’s own actions allowed him to do so.
