Anyone worried about whether the team, Pep and fans would be hungry to do four in a row now have an answer.

Exactly. I don't know how Pep does it but we look more hungry than ever.

Just home from the game. After about 20 minutes I thought this was going to be the day we were going to give someone a complete twatting. Forest were down and out and couldnt get near the ball. Then we just stopped playing, seemingly content to hold on to the lead.

I haven’t seen the replays but from what I could see it was a clear red card for Rodri. He raised his hands twice to the Forest player and you simply can’t do that. It looked to me like Ederson was fortunate to avoid red after he went head to head with a Forest player. Then it looked like Grealish was determined to get himself into trouble in which became an unnecesarilly ill disciplined second half.

Personally, I thought Pep’s tactic of going 5 at the back and effectively conceding the middle third of the pitch to Forest was strange but it doesn’t matter now. Another 3 points in the bag.

it’s should’ve been 50/50 on both incidents.

Rodri will ge a big loss in the next three games.
Phillips is not the answer. Unfair to judge him on a ten Man City performance but he has never stepped up in any way that convinces me that he understands our game, nor has the capacity to play it.

I don’t know who we’ll have fit but we have three tough games coming up.

100% agree you can see it plain as day they are so focused on the job its so impressive to see.

We might see a double pivot now with Rodri out , maybe Kovacic and Nunes or Kovacic and Phillips. Might see Pep do what Tuchel did with Kova at Chelsea and have him on the left of a double pivot.

Last season losing Rodri would’ve been a disaster this season we are more than equipped to play without him and not drop signif

It was stupid from Rodri but the ref was desperate not to even it up.

Montiel and Origi both comitted stone wall yellow cards while on a booking and recieved no punishment.

He also waited until Grealish was playing Aké through on goal to call a non-existent foul.

Taylor was a fucking joke.

I think some underestimate Rodris importance in this team.

We will find a way, we always will. Arsenal match we should have both Kovacic and Bernardo available. Maybe we can pack the middle with a Silva-Kova-Nunes midfield.

In fact it was possibly the first time in a while that with the injuries making it difficult to rotate, we looked a little leggy.
Doesn't matter now, but we can't afford any more injuries or suspensions.

Thought Haaland was absolutely magnificent today.

Excellent first half and goal, but that 2nd half he was outstanding.

Lead the line on his own, made the pitch longer and wider with his runs, and went to war physically. A proper old school CF’s performance.

I thought we took our foot off the gas, happened after the forest player went down injured. Maybe instruction to manage the game from pep?

There was a part towards the end where they had a half opportunity just outside the box and 5 players jumped in to block it at once. I thought that was awesome and showed the unity.

Yes I noticed Gvardiol, Dias and Akanji all make a human wall with arms behind their back, great effort.

It's a shame the fans don't show as much unity. I was scolded in SS2 for shouting too loudly. This is what we've become with success.

Agree with most of what you say but to call one of most outstanding players a fucking idiot is a bit harsh to say the least for what he has produced over the last few seasons

Rodders has a lot of credit in the bank with City fans but today he was that idiot.
