West Ham, Crvena Zvezda, Forest, Newcastle Reserves, Wolves.

We've gone 1-0 down in 4 of them last 5 & it shouldn't be happening consistently.

Tactics & setup today have been shocking so far.
We won 2-0. Wolves so far have barely threatend. They did well with the clearence from Doku's effort.

Not the best first half really. We've been in pretty much total control but created little and an unlucky own goal has us behind.

We're moving the ball a bit too slowly at times and at other times trying to do too much on the ball and losing it (Nunes and Doku in particular). We really seem to be missing Rodri out there who can dictate the tempo and also create from deep. Kovacic is trying to thread balls through to Haaland but pretty difficult against a packed defence and they've usually been cut out.

We are also missing a player wide right as Foden is drifting into more central positions and that really leaves us with no attacking threat down that side and further congesting the middle. I'd be tempted to switch Foden and Doku round for 10 mins and see if that works any better.

I'd like to see us stretch their defence a bit more and move the ball quicker and I think we can still win this.

They have finally figured out a way of levelling out our games pull us up for fouls constantly let the opposition go on similar, play advantage for them as well but pull us back on that, book a couple of our players early doors, but let the foul count build for opposition before even considering a booking, also the constant stop start that happens in our games and the non existent injuries to break up rhythm and momentum..

Absolute comedy of errors for their goal. The worrying thing is we don't look like scoring one, let alone two.

Have to say I'm unimpressed with the refereeing. It really shouldn't take more than a minute to get the game going again with a free kick. 1 minute 40 second from foul to free kick for the Aki inadvertent foul. I decided to time it after two similar delays. The full time wasn't restored as stoppage time either.

Totally bottled that second yellow too. That foul was a clear caution if ever there was one.

Not feeling particularly optimistic about us turning this around tbh. Although I said that at half-time against West Ham, and that turned out ok. Fingers crossed for a repeat.

Not many times we don’t respond in games like this, keep the faith blues Pep will sort it

Add the Viking to that…
And Alvarez. Bottom line is they’re playing 5 at the back and 2 DMs. None of our front players have done anything of much note. There’s no space through the middle. Very little coming from the midfield in link up play.

I thought they'd been doing this for years?
