The proper City midfield are back, passing with purpose. The new signings have much to learn but it will come.

MotM between Phil and Rico but I gave it to Rico. How old is he?
 
Rico and a shout out to every single player, much better moved the ball with purpose and quickly.

What I like about Lewis is his energy and enthusiasm. He’s got what Kalvin Phillips needs.

Also got to say Rodri, Bernardo, Alvarez and Docu when they came on.

Josko Gvardiol was also fucking superb. He’s going to be a legend.

Rico was brilliant but it's Phil for me.
I was surprised he was taken off as he was running the game.
He took his goal really well and everything was going through him especially in the second half.
 
Rico is the real deal. Impressive from Doku again and Alvarez is a baller. I haven't decided between them yet, MOTM wise. Oh and Sergio himself would have been proud of that goal by Spiderman. Well done lads.
 
Rico, love him and he’s still got loads of room for improvement, the sky’s the limit.

I’m hoping Bobb can mature and follow a similar path and they can become our own Xavi and Iniesta in time, so silky the pair of them, beautiful, could watch players like that all day !
