I grew up in the era of Bell, Lee & Summerbee and Best, Charlton & Law. One of great rivalry but also more respect than we see today. Those were United players that I respected and it’s sad that only two of them are still with us.

One of very few real gentleman who wore the Rag shirt , there was no nastiness or attitude from on or off the pitch and was iked universally , i hate the Rags with a passion, but this man deserves the utmost respect , R-I-P

As much as the Munich Air Disaster affected him and for the rest of his life, he never kept on and on about it to win sympathy, unlike the media still do today.

Death as ever is sad news.
I had Bobby Charlton's signature and a note on a piece of paper pinned to my wall when I was a nipper.
My dad taught his daughters to drive and my elder brother was one of those city one week, utd the next types.
My dad said he was a lovely man and I trust his judgement.
