Today Sunak wants a gentle fellating for giving £20m extra in humanitarian aid today but won't pursue £19 billion in Covid fraud. Just getting Mone's money back would dwarf his puny efforts of today.

The last decade of my career in adjusting saw me visiting and revisiting the same locations impacted by flooding year in year out where the promises of govt was "lessons must be learned" and "once in a 500 year event"

Simple fact is fuck all was done and it was left to Insurers to pick up the pieces. Well they are commercial businesses and reached breaking point and where areas became areas of perpetual loss Insurers withdrew flood cover and raised excesses to deter claims. I feel sorry for all those poor sods who get flooded - I have been in properties that had been flooded 5 times in 15 years - unsaleable and now probably uninsurable against flood perils.

i go back into work tomorrow after 4 days off,last saturday was a holiday so i could go to City.I use the excuse of my alcohol intake on many reasons but my job adds to the depression and malaise,its so odd how all I long for is to be drunk and away from this shit world a lot of the time
I will walk into my workplace surrounded from the entrance ( and leading up to it ) and along the corridors of people in utter fucking turmoil
and desperate.like its been for years now ,in a fucking hospital young ,old,native,foreigner,everyone from staff to kids putting a brave face on,when just below the surface people are ready to fucking scream.
