Tyson Fury v Francis Ngannou farce - Result confirmed it!

Let be honest here , team fury got out foxed and when fury tried to be clever switching to southpaw ,francis countered brilliantly with his foot work. Fury did fuck all.Than francis went southpaw and fury had no answer.
Fury fought like a drunk street fighter while francis fought like a seasoned pro boxer.

A lot hangs on if judges score jabs and give them value. Same with big swings that hit gloves. One ref sees a good punch another doesn't.

I missed the early rounds but the latter ones could have gone either way. Fury doing very little to suggest he was the 'real' boxer.
If you missed the early rounds you have no clue to who won, your first paragraph is also not correct.

He can’t walk him down like what you’re just seen

Listen, this result was preordained and he could of dropped him 2/3 times, that would never impact the end goal

He lost all the same, fury, by a round for me but anyone who thinks Usyk can replicate that is deluded, fury won’t be roughed up in the same way!
100%

Usyk doesn't have the power or size to worry Fury, so we'll see an entirely different Fury when those two fight. Throwing a lot more punches and using his jab constantly and also leaning on Usyk to wear him out. I will be gobsmacked if Fury doesn't beat Usyk comfortably.

Nearly as bad as the PL.

Very WWE, we actually laughed when the result was announced. Not that I’d ever pay for it but I’m even thinking of cancelling my IPTV, it was that bad.

Entertainment, eh?

I’m a little bemused by how many people are calling this decision a disgrace. Scoring it round by round Fury won 7 at least and then with the knock down it takes it to a 96-95 decision.

Hats off to Ngannu though without doubt but don’t think this was a bent decision by any stretch
Because people just like to be offended and controversial. Fury won but like you said hats off to Ngannous

Shit sport at the top end. It’s a fuckin cash cow of re-matches, fights against no-marks, every match over-hyped for ppv reasons, embarrassing trash talk, obscene money, paid off judges, ten minute choreography for a ring walk, mediocre boxers who wouldn’t get anywhere near Ali Tyson or Holyfield, fuckin reality tv ‘stars’ - give me a break - and You Tubers? The world’s gone mad and then you have coked up bellends in the crowd fighting each other. It’s wank and the armchair boxing fans are being taken for mugs by the likes of Hearn and co putting on this shite and lapping up millions and millions on the back of it. FUCK OFF!

That’s thar for me.

Drip feeding sports to Saudi. Making boxing a spectacle, and no longer a reputable sport.

Tyson should take his millions and sit eating shit seafood off of Morcambe.

Glad to loved the 80s and 90s with some proper boxers and sport.
You obviously missed the Fury Vs Wilder fights then? Particularly the last one. One of the best boxing matches I have ever seen.

Yeah, that’s the one.

Even when I think about it now, I’m still as pissed off with that result as I was on the night. I was gutted for Jack Catterall.

And I can’t stand that prick Josh Taylor.
They might be fighting again next. Even though Taylor lost his titles since.

i see winning fights that you didnt win by dodgy reffing scorecards runs in the family, he should be ashamed of himself

That's the one. Boxing died for me that day.
How could anyone take boxing as a fair and serious sport after watching that is beyond me.
the problem with boxers and sportsmen in general these days is that they have no integrity, they know damn well they lost a fight but they celebrate, they make excuses after excuses and get their fawning sycophants to gas them up and make it look like they won.

I said I was going to stop watching boxing forever I was so pissed off after that fix.

After tuning in at 22.40 last night when they said they would be coming to the ring and for the fight not to actually start until 23.45 after a shit concert for teenagers dragged on for ages and then the camera and the presenter to be picking out celebrities in the crowd and talking about them and barely talking about boxing for ages, I might just stick to replays on YouTube the day after from now on… while still not taking this once great sport seriously.

Amazes me the lengths that boxing will go to to discredit itself as an attractive and genuine sport.

Drugs testing is a disgrace
The lack of unification is a disgrace
All this cross over / YouTube shit is a disgrace

Didn't watch it, but fair play to the MMA guy as it seems he trained well, gave a good account of himself and got a good payday way superior to what he would normally get. In his position who wouldn't go for that?

The issue is, he shouldn't be allowed in the same ring with a Heavyweight champion of the world - he hasn't done the hard yards in boxing has he?

Not contributed his purses towards the relevant governing bodies over time and not climbed the ranks - not a load talented heavyweights but how many ranked fighters has he just jumped the list on?

What message does this send out to them - don't get good, get famous?

Fury is a dope for taking this 'exhibition' and for seemingly turning up unprepared - the Usyk fight will now most likely be postponed if not cancelled.

The credibility of the sport continues to dangle by a fucking thread................

boxing is killing itself for bigger paychecks and it will eventually eat itself. That spectacle last night was a joke, a load of celebs being paid to say what a great place saudi is, it was just a giant advert disguised as a 'boxing' match

problem is to much power is in the hands of the fighters, every single fighter over the last few years has spent more time dodging fights than actually being a boxer, mayweathers 50-0 is a joke as he never took a fight when his opponent was in his prime, its all about optics these days and in boxing they are a shambles
