Swearing IS a Red Card offence already.Yes but football is not all about flair and skill is it.. that is only part of the game.. the game is based on mixes of all different strength's and weakness.. football is nothing without tackling.. punch ups.. bad tackles and the thing which links it all and is now sadly lacking from the game... good old passion... like I say on the pitch and in the stands it’s sanitised.. swearing will soon be banned..
Should of said swearing will be banned in the crowd.. they will ask people to report to stewards if they hear anybody using foul or abusive language, they will also use cameras to catch culprits and withdraw tickets etc.. they are all about wanting to attract families and swearing is a no no.. like I say a sanitised environment just like on the pitch.. showing passion in 10 years time will be seen as an offence.. tackling already on its way out.. a tackle which looks bad even with no contact is stopped.. slide tackling will stop because of fear of injury and once a link between heading the ball and dementia is established.. heading will be banned.. it’s deffo coming and if you don’t believe me imagine saying 20 years ago you won’t be able go for a fifty fifty drop ball.. won’t be able to challenge the goalkeeper and most fouls will be yellow cards.. they would tell you your mad.Swearing IS a Red Card offence already.
From FA law 12.
SENDING-OFF OFFENCES
A player, substitute or substituted player who commits any of the following offences is sent off:
"Using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or action(s)"
Not really I think outside fans can bring a different mix and perspective to a forum.. it can create a good debate at least even if people don’t agree with what’s being said.Very weird " ex" dipper spending every day posting about dippers on a city forum chatting shit , got to be a fucking wind up or are you glory hunting us now

Looks more like Lilo LilNellie Boswell?
Subjectively, you think it was better, and fair fucks to you, but most folk don’t. And that doesn’t mean you’re wrong, and they’re right. It just means there’s no objective answer to that question.A lot of people seem to miss the point about why the old game was better than this now sanitised form.. let’s look at the Fash the bash point.. yeah ofcorse he was no frills.. he was big awkward and no nonesense but he used the tools he had.. he was different to Rush or Lineker but the game gave you that difference unlike now where every player has to be technical or fast depending on how close to the blueprint they are tells you how good they are.. very boring..
Look at the point about Peter Reid and Terry Hurloch.. back in the they were the complete opposite to your Hoddles and Molby of this world.. you would walk to the match and be wondering who would win the battle today., the good of Hoddle or the destroyer of Hurloch.. it was never a given and whoever won the battle more or less effected the outcome of the match.. you don’t get that now you have the game weighted 94 per cent in Hoddles favour by stopping the tackling that’s never been about what football was about.
A person made the point that people loved a good good hard tackle.. even a punch up like Franny Lee.. the atmosphere was at time over the top however that made it better and you enjoyed a win more..
nobody likes to see people get hurt in sport.. however. It’s part and parcel and the risk and danger adds to the excitement.. you gonna stop the Grand Prix cars not going over 30mph.. breed the horses so if they fall on jockeys they won’t get hurt.. make boxing gloves made of soft sponge so you can’t knock someone out.. we’re you want it to end..
Some good points tho about the game then and now..
but why are you looking at scouse media? Why do the Scouse media continue to reference our club in so many of their articles ? The latest is Nunez is beating Haaland on three stats this season , but not the stat that matters , scoring goals.
Its every day the likes of the Echo , Liverpool world , Liverpool.com are comparing the Dippers to our clubs achievements , if you need any proof that we are in their heads 24/7 just read the headlines in Newsnow its incessant.

Played on Chorlton Park millions of years ago. One corner flag was 12 inches under water 2 yards around it. the rest of the pitch was a 6 inch deep bog (minimum) and when I asked the ref wtf, he said "if I can see the top of your head son. the games on". He must have needed his match fee for beer. The problem was the pitches. When I first started watching they were all mud heaps (they had improved a bit by the 80s) and high ball skills were just not possible, except maybe on the wing. One thing we have to thank the premier league for is the insistence on better pitches and the money to make them.
Can you imagine trying to play Pep’s passing game on a mud heap? Bernado would be up to his neck in it.
