Where's the proof that football is less popular now because of VAR ?
We should've had another pen when Haaland was fouled.
Antony should have had 3 reds.
Football with var, anything goes
I haven't seen it but I suspect yer just being generous. If the ref sez goal, it's a goal! The Arse just have to take it as bit of rough, a turn on the roundabout! Our first goal should never have stood, Soucek clearly pulling keeper back.
Hannibal challenge should have been a red.
Probably a lot more in tonight’s other games.
Football without VAR, anything goes.
* just seen highlight at Chelsea, Blackburn should have had a penalty, handball from Gallagher. Hey ho.
VAR should enhance the arbitration of any game. I think we only have VAR because of the clamour of fans who have also watched other ball sports. I think the arbitrators would prefer not to have it, and they have done their best to maintain similar outcomes as though they didn't have it. How many times have the LotG been massaged when the 'honest mistakes' are brought to light. Tierney was never gonna give that pen on Sunday!Grass is always greener. And memories are short.
Fans of every league that has VAR, yearn for the good old days before it.
Fans of every league that hasn’t VAR, acknowledge it’s shit but want it anyway because they think it’s not as shit as what they currently have.

Particularly in relation to viewing figures.
do you have any stats for match going supporters and the way they are treated with var decisions ? all you have shown is tv viewing figures, people who know whats going on and why var is being used![]()

More ice creams are eaten when there is an increase in Great White Shark attacks.Average attendances and global viewing figures have increased since the introduction of VAR
So are you claiming var has resulted in record attendances for West Ham, tottenham and City?So I can prove average attendances and global viewing figures in the PL have increased since the introduction of VAR - why not just say ‘ok, yes you was right on that’
If you personally don’t like VAR, that’s fine , that’s your opinion. I don’t like the game without VAR. That’s my opinion.
As for ‘killed the game’ and ‘football is finished’ then that’s just laughable hyperbole.

Yes you can prove that viewing figures have risen since it's introduction.....SINCE not BECAUSE!So I can prove average attendances and global viewing figures in the PL have increased since the introduction of VAR - why not just say ‘ok, yes you was right on that’

Yeah that's fair enough I'm not that arsed really. )I argue against
‘VAR has killed the game’
‘VAR has ruined football’
Since its introduction attendances have not decreased nor viewing figures.
Causation and correlation aren’t his strong points.Yes you can prove that viewing figures have risen since it's introduction.....SINCE not BECAUSE!
If you don't already, you should work in politics ;)
I started giving up watching games halfway through as soon as a crap var decision was made, it's so bad now I don't bother watching any game, even watching the goals on YouTube is becoming teeth itching.
But it has made it worse to watch....for many it has killed alot of their enjoyment of the game.Which proves VAR has not meant fans boycott the game in their droves nor killed football. Which is the whole point.
