They should at least address itMods need to stamp it out.
I think they've hit a cul-de-sac now anyway. They should at least address it
Thats a First class post. They should at least address it
Shit! No wonder the trains late.I thought utd only took the name Manchester after newton heath went bust and they moved out of Manchester to Trafford
Post Codes were configured by Royal Mail to assist in sorting mail to the correct location and not in relation to administrative borders, city and county. RM based it on their major sorting offices which were often based close to major train stations to suite the mail trains. Every item with an M postcode would be sorted to the M bags and dropped to the Manchester Piccadilly stop, from where the numbers eg M34 would be sent to the office that dealt with the M34 codes and so on Trafford's closest station is Manchester This is why there are various anomalies when postcode and administrative district are comparedI like winding rags up by saying old trafford isn't in manchester.
But according to many source it is. Sadly address validation is part of my job. An easy way to check is by looking on the royal mails postal address file ( https://www.royalmail.com/find-a-postcode ). That has old trafford in manchester. Maybe Old Trafford isn't what i should have checked but it seems sensible.
These things happen all the time. Stockport used to be Cheshire, Croydon used to be Surrey. Although County isn't strictly part of an address so that's a bad example i guess.
Right bored myself to slee
No updates bud.Heard anything new about this case?
Pfft, you're useless!!No updates bud.
Pfft, you're useless!
Its code, a post code. They should at least address it
Because they are charlatans. All these Mediah hacks who state City have broken the rules is beyond me.
Do they have access to information that nobody else has? I only ask because the last time I heard we were charged but umpteen months later we haven't been found guilty of anything. The fact that it's taking so long indicates to me that the PL are having serious difficulties making any charge stick.
They should rename the city centre!
Does that mean you can drive over 20 mph in town? And Aberystwyth (Wales) is in Shrewsbury' (England)
Apologies for posting something relevant to the thread title, but it seems things may be progressing with regards to the creation of an independent regulator. I can't read the full article as I don't have a sub to the Athletic. Could (probably will) have implications for the ongoing process around City's charges?
Was just thinking that. Some ex rag or dipper will get it.
