No idea why his account was deleted, unless he decided to delete it himself.

Yes pal 100% agree with you.Really? That's weird. Good poster that's been on here for ages.
Just checked the Manchester City Council website & it says the parking scheme is operational apart from Zone 6 where for some reason you can't even apply for a resident's permit. Zone 6 is a the top of Ashton New Road, from Edge Lane to somewhere north of Clayton Hall , Canberra Street I think. Still can't believe there's been no official confirmation though, will probably end up with thousands of fines being issued without warning! The signs, lines etc were not done for the last game, so there may be a few weeks' grace.
Do you have a link pal?Just checked the Manchester City Council website & it says the parking scheme is operational apart from Zone 6 where for some reason you can't even apply for a resident's permit. Still refers to it as a consultation? In the tfgm match specific information sent in the email from the club for the Bournemouth game, it does have a map showing the new street closures so would assume they are in place. Think you are asking to get booked if you ignore the restrictions unless, maybe, they take a more lenient path for first couple of games?
Sorry mate I'm a tech dinosaur. Go on the main Council website, from the home page select parking, then residents parking schemes, then Etihad Campus. All the zones are there, hope it helps.Do you have a link pal?
Could anything as progressive as an underground or monorail be looked at? Gotta think big.
That's the existing scheme isn't it?Sorry mate I'm a tech dinosaur. Go on the main Council website, from the home page select parking, then residents parking schemes, then Etihad Campus. All the zones are there, hope it helps.
Is there a chance the track might bend?
Not on your life, my bluenose friendIs there a chance the track might bend?
We come down from Droylsden bud, you can park anywhere on Ashton New Road and on any residential streets up to Cambrian Street which is just up from Clayton Con Club. The existing residents parking have signs up from Cambrian Street going down towards the ground. You can see on the map that it includes all of Ashton New Road, Edge Lane & North Road. That's the existing scheme isn't it?
That's shite news. A very decent and knowledgeable poster. Hope he comes back on.Really? That's weird. Good poster that's been on here for ages.
So has the extended area been brought in yet?
Can't find anything definite anywhere.
Trying to work out if I'm ok to park in my normal spot on Sat for the Bournemouth game or not.
Those day use permits could have a good market. 10 free then 20 more at 50p each.Notices will be placed on lighting columns in the local area letting people know about the Traffic Regulation Order process, and it will be advertised in the Manchester Evening News. You can also request copies of the lamp post notice and advertisement by phone, post or email.
Types of permits and eligible properties
This is a new scheme therefore residents in the existing scheme will need to apply for a new permit. All properties within the scheme boundary will be eligible for permits.
Types of permits that will be available:
View the list of streets included in the scheme and other eligible properties.
- Residents are eligible to free permits for every vehicle registered at an address in the scheme as in the existing Etihad RPZ
- Residents are eligible to two free visitor permits as in the existing Etihad RPZ
- Carer permits are available as in the existing Etihad RPZ.
- Student permits are available – these were not available as part of the Etihad RPZ. This is because as the area develops, more and more students choose to live in the area while attending one of the universities in the city. They are only available to students who can demonstrate they need a vehicle to complete their studies (for example, a student nurse on placement at a remote hospital).
- Residents are also eligible for one free book of 10 ‘day use’ permits. A maximum of two more books can be purchased for £5 a book. Applications for additional permits will be monitored.
- Business employees (including school staff) can apply for a free permit to enable them to continue to park for work as they do now, if they do so on-street. You’ll need to provide proof of employment at a business listed in the scheme area
- Businesses can apply for up to 6 business visitor permits, to enable visitors (for example, those attending meetings) to park on-street. This is the same as the number permitted in the existing Etihad scheme
- Community permits are available for use by organisations who can demonstrate clear social benefit to people attending. Examples of this are:
- Schools during parents evening
- Community centres
- Churches
You cannot apply for permits yet. Once the TRO process is complete and if the scheme goes ahead, everyone in the area will receive information about how and when the scheme will be enforced, and how eligible properties can apply.
