Premier League Games 4/5/6 November '23

When Rodri got sent off I don’t think many blues thought it was undeserved. It was stupid and petulant but nobody could have considered it dangerous. It was never going to injure the player. Now I’m watching Romero not being sent off for a blatant kick out off the ball. Again, stupid and petulant but not going to injure the player. I’m watching two-footed challenges and elbows/forearm smashes that could injure a player not getting reds. It’s all back to front.

The Rodri incident was a sin bin offence not a sending off.

I don't think Oliver has done anything wrong at all. It's not his fault if there's so many incidents to deal with. Before the sending off I thought he was reffing yhe game well, I like to see refs let things go so long as they're consistent with it and he was doing just that, was plenty of little things he could have pulled up if he wanted to but he just give both teams a bit of rope and let the niggly tackles go. Not his fault if some of the players can't control themselves and allow that to spill over into dangerous tackles.
