Now we only need someone to replace Matheus Nunes and this will be 5-0

Think it’s more the fact that he hasn’t found his rhythm yet nor that of the team. Don’t think he’s been poor, as when he carries the ball and runs off it he has been penetrating their lines.
I was quite disappointed he missed Stones's run into open space...would have been through on goal.

Looked like he was pontificating a little too long on the ball without being fully aware.

But I do like his ability to ghost a man or two.

Our Phil!

I’m not sure on his position so far he seems to be sitting a bit to deep
I think Guardiola is rotating Kovacic, Lewis, and Nunes into the deeper position, with Stones also coming up. It means two of the first three appear to drift in and out of the game, but they are constantly pulling their opponents hither and thither.

I didn't know Morrissey had turned his hand to football management

What a goal. Finally Phil's scored one of them, where he's all limbs and silky touches, gliding along the surface and bouncing off defenders. Normally he slams it straight at the keeper or doesn't quite get the shot off but he finally connected this time. Amazing, amazing technique.
He’s so much better with his left.
He doesn’t trust his right foot sometimes.
