For my sins for a couple of weeks I felt sorry for Maguire with him conveniently being blamed for everything going wrong at Old Trafford and thought some of the press he was receiving was a bit unfair and needless….I take it all back now.

How he gets away with consistently haranguing the officials match after match is beyond me.

I’m not sure whether our reported interest was genuine but he’s a million miles away from having the ability to play for City. He’s half decent in the air and can belt a long ball….buts that’s about about it for his good points.

He looks and plays like a Sunday league pub player.
