And Kova for Alvarez. Try to get some sort of control in midfield. I'd be tempted to settle for a point now, particularly if we're as "meh" in the second half as we were in the first.

Alvarez and Haaland is too offensive to play away from home, our midfield is wide open so Kovacic or Nunes need to come on for one of the front 5.

Not at our best. Didn't really have control of the game and a bit open at the back. Dias and Guardiol both looked a bit shaky at times. Alvarez and Doku not doing much but both are capable of changing that round quickly.

If we want a bit more control then look at bringing Grealish on for Alvarez, move Foden contraband shuffle Doku wide right, or perhaps bring on Kovacic.

Get it right 2nd half and we should win this.

Agree. I would have started Jack over Doku but now he’s playing I would leave him on. Alvarez has been poor by his standards.
