Chelsea (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

We rarely get drawn into games like that, but this Chelsea side are chaotic.. have been all season, so I can forgive it. It was an absolutely mental game where I think a point a piece was about right. I think that point here when they perform like that is a good result.

Also, the hate for Sterling on the match day thread was OTT. He was the best player on the park and always has been a great player, yet gets shit when he plays for us and now that continues that he doesn’t. Let’s not act like dippers, he was a great servant.

That was a mad game which neither team deserved to lose.
Some of the comments on here tonight about Sterling and Palmer are a fucking joke. Grow up and realise these guys are winners and don’t give a fuck about a club once moved on.
1st half our left was a shambles as was Dias throughout.
Special mentions to Foden and Rodri

Picked the wrong team and then compounded that decision by defending like a bunch of strangers. Our press in particular was difficult to fathom; everyone apart from the back four was on their 18 yard box and once they’d knocked it over they were straight on to our goal.

Dias had probably his worst game for us in what is proving a poor season from him and Gvardiol perhaps isn’t as far advanced as we’d hoped. Wouldn’t be surprised if we go for another centre half in the next couple of windows.

Scoring four goals and not winning can’t happen if you want to win the league and we seemed strangely unsettled from the first whistle.
Dias usually takes till after December to hit form. He always starts slow

tbf dias has let’s us off the jail card many times
but close his sharpness a bit after injury last season break and has never got back to his best after surgery. cliche as fuck might sound class is permanent and form is temporary, in trust father ruben .

Absolutely shite. Played like we used to at Klanfield pre-Covid when we try and turn it into a game of basketball

Without Stones, that system doesn't work and he needs to stop trying it with players who can't do it. They just walked through the centre of the pitch every time they wanted.
