Luton Away

There are criteria for promotion through the pyramid and, to a degree, in the football league (standing etc). Therefore I see no reason why certain capacities shouldn’t be compulsory the higher up clubs go, even if a time limit is imposed. Two clubs in, supposedly, the best and richest league in the world with capacities of less than 12k is a pisstake.
I like to see new sides in the PL but agree with you. Minimum of a 15k stadium would be my preference.

Even if every ticket had been sold individually via a transparent Loyalty Points system, we'd still have 2000 regulars without a ticket and people complaining.

However, I'm not convinced that we should be blaming Luton or Bournemouth for effectively being more successful than Sunderland, Birmingham, or Sheffield Wednesday.
Quite right. I dont like it when people bleat that clubs are too small to be in the prem. eh? Theyve earned their right to be there. Good luck to them

Thats the beauty of football

Part of the problem is that Luton's capacity was probably OK when terracing was allowed, and there is no space to develop the current site.
They'd be hammered by everybody if they bought a street of houses and evicted the owners. Unlike you know who up the A580.

I'm calling it now, no chance 5% of the allocation went to 18-25 on this occasion

I've not missed an away game in over 2 seasons using 18-25 and for this one this morning it said the allocation had sold out at 4 seconds past 10.

How is that even possible?

Because 528 went onsale at 10am to the loyalty points scheme.
5% of that 26 tickets.

30 tickets on Sale to 18-25.
30/1151 ≈ 2.6%

Absolutey correct that 5% didn't go to 18-25

If its any consolation mate, there'll be quite a lot of people who haven't missed an away for 2 years missing this one

No it's meant to be 5% of the total allocation, that's what it usually is. 18-25 got 150 for villa
yep usually around the 150 mark for a normal allocation.

& yeah I know a lot of lads who haven't missed a domestic away for 7/8 years who are going to come up short for this one. Just wish the club were more transparent and didn't try and bullshit us - that's my only gripe.

Completely agree with you there mate. I never mind losing out to a fellow blue, but the fact is there'll be Tourists paying four figure sums for this one as we speak
