Hamas Attacking innocent civilians isnt retaliation. I’d argue try and bring in the international community. Focus on peace talks and a possible two state solution. Seems like Hamas and Isreal don’t want that though.

Unless you remove Hamas and the Israeli government you’ll never have a chance at peace.

In terms of the Palestinian people they don’t actually have a government that represents them so I’m unsure what they can actually do right now.

The PLO Fatah faction is the recognised negotiating representative of the Palestinian people.
They have been struggling for Palestinian independence for the last 6 decades.
Hamas are a relative newcomer.
The only reason they have the power they have is because the Israelis concocted a divide and rule policy whereby they decided to fund and promote Hamas against Fatah in order to weaken them.
Well they succeeded in that but created a Frankenstein's monster which is now out of their control.
Netenyahu himself orchestrated this policy in order to kill off any chance of a two state solution.
In that sense what is happening now has been brought on themselves by the Israelis.

At least his word count is dropping so the irrationality is easier to pick up. One side in this 'conflict' has *all* the power ...... including 'laser guided weapons' ...... yet the weaker partner is the one who must unconditionally reject violence. Sounds like an abusive relationship to me.

The Israelis will try to do the same in the South. The Israeli Government is determined to pursue ethnic cleansing and the Americans are still backing up corrupt intelligence assessments / propaganda.

The only thing they could do is move 100,000s of civilians to the north which has been reduced to rubble, I can’t see the Americans allowing that, I know people are sceptical sometimes but if the Americans say no the Israelis have no option, that’s what’s frustrating everyone in the Arab and Islamic world, they have called a halt before

Also there can be no ethnic cleansing because Egypt has said no in no uncertain terms even threatening to deploy their armed forces to block the borders

It’s a mess with no plan just vengeance on innocent civilians, and Hamas is still alive and well still firing rockets into Israel on a daily basis, the world is starting to get very queasy now

The trouble is, if Israel stops without defeating Hamas, it’s a victory for Hamas, it’s not been thought through, it’s a disaster for innocent civilians and Israel and that’s exactly what it was designed to be, Israel is getting more and more isolated
