Benjamin Mendy | Joins Pogon Szczecin (p92)

Has to go down as the worst signing under the current custodian. Bony has nothing on this fella. Waste of space.
There was a player there before the injuries.

As for the suing, someone must have told him there is something in it. I couldn’t give a fuck to be honest. The PL charges is the one.

Was obvious something like this was gonna happen, many will say who can blame him, many will think get fucked, but once he came away from that court case virtually scot free he has more than one leg to stand on now, just so happens it’s us, but we’d be saying I hope they get it if he was a player elsewhere, well I would
guess all down to what contract he signed
bingo will have his say along with all other managers on friday

If he wasn't paid retrospectively following his acquittal then he probably has a fair claim, it wasn't his 'fault' he wasn't able to play despite the fact he was robbing a living before hand.

Whether you think he is guilty or not he was found not guilty by this countries justice system (which has many flaws but that's another discussion!)

I’m not sure what clauses are or can be inserted in this modern day and age, when going out obviously not to be a prick is one I’ll guess, representing the club etc etc, but what he did allegedly with partying and what not, I dunno

Anyway not worth going into really it’s all been covered

I imagine he would actually like to claim against the women in question for the lost wages but as that's obviously not realistic, trying to get them from us is the next best thing.

Why ? What would you do in his shoes ??
There was always going to be some who would say something like this.

At the end of the day if he has a case, he’s been told he has. It’s between him and the club. If he’s due money from us then fair enough. The courts will decide, or lawyers outside of court. Either way it is no slight on the club whatever the outcome.

Would imagine he has a case. Depends what the ins and outs of his contract are but he did lose a lot of wages and he's not realistically going to get compensation from the women in question.

He wouldn't have been with us much longer anyway but if not for the court case he'd almost certainly be at a better club on higher wages than he is now, so I don't think it's bizarrely unreasonable for him to at least want to be paid for that time period.

Comes down to whether you think he's guilty and got lucky or if it was a mistake to charge him.
no, it comes down to the terms of his contract. He may well have breached them, even if he did nothing criminal

He'll be entitled to withheld money after being cleared and we won't be liable in full for whatever over the top figure his lawyers have asked for. They'll settle on what's reasonable quickly and move along.

Always going to happen and isnt an attack on city, it's just standard procedure after whats happened. I'm assuming we've got water tight contracts to protect against things like this. It's not really even a newsworthy story but without having clicked on any link I'm going to presume sky are already building it up into something it isn't.
