PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I think the Everton case demonstrates to me that the PL tribunal was clearly influenced by the PL in its decision. What with Richard Masters telling the tribunal what the decision should be and quelle surprise they hand out a 10 point penalty. What a joke! That is why City will quite rightly be looking at all options to challenge the process. The PL are a bunch of stooges working on behalf of clubs that are living in the past. When/if the tribunal actually gets to conduct the process it is likely to be a sham like UEFAs process. City, fight hard to the end. Do not give an inch! We are the lads who are playing to win!

Just listened to the times podcast linked on here. Better than the usual press standard especially Martin Samuels. But northcroft (small n deliberate) - words to the effect that City could help by not delaying and agreeing to go to trial. What planet are these people on. Are City supposed to say well there are thousands of documents we have that irrefutably rebut your accusations, but rather than delay things we will just give you the odd one or two contracts and hope for the best.
As stated many times on here, the media on this matter is a cesspool of ill informed baying nonsense.
Also watched Peps latest Presser and the previous one about him believing our people and staying here etc.
Cheers me up and increases confidence that the Club are innocent. Pep has more class in his little finger than the rest of the premier league and its buffoonish hierarchy put together.
We will be ok come what may…..
I listened to it also and I would challenge Northcroft to think about if he was accused of something he believed he did not do would he decide, I don't want to hold things up I will go to court straight away and try to defend myself. Totally crass. He should get a ten point reduction for that statement alone.

The trouble is that if we go down and lose our sponsorships, the haters will be proved right: Pep just could not do it in a lower league with a small budget. I am assuming the PL will ban him from using his coaching abilities.
We can’t lose sponsors if Mansour is paying for them anyway!

Loads of ways round it. FIFA used to do it with the computer game. Paul mince for example -:)

Simon Jordan… wtf. He’s a failed businessman stealing a living masquerading as some sort of legal / accounting expert. The dick doesn’t know his arse from his elbow… he works for Talkshite and anyone who listens to him or who gives him a modicum of credibility only has themselves to blame.
He's a ****.

Good post- my question/ concern is this however.
We knew that with the UEFA charges there was a clear path to an independent court i.e. CAS. However with the PL charges we know the IC with its PL stooges is not going to live up to its title “Independent”and more than likely come up with a sham punishment to appease the PL & cartel’s agenda. Therefore will we have a right of appeal through a normal court system or is the IC decision the end game. That’s my concern.
Should anyone with a legal background have any idea the path this likely follows please enlighten.
Cheers.

This isn’t a smoking gun. It’s not going to be used. It’s utterly irrelevant, bar passing time on a thread that is fast flowing despite having nothing new to actually discuss.
Never said it was. I was just correcting those that believed it to be City’s fault as they never cancelled the log in details of the scouts that left; which was completely incorrect. Not sure what your point is considering what I stated.

What was the point of posting it? I’d assumed you were highlighting it for people to read and get on the bandwagon of reopening the case.

I guess I was wrong. Sorry.

If we went down it would have to be one of the most memorable seasons in our history, and there's a few contenders for that. Imagine the atmospheres. Imagine disrespecting everybody in the Championship and then coming back and winning the PL. I can see us doing that if we had to. Only a mass exodus could scupper that and we're in a very different position to where we were in the good/bad old days of the 90s because of the infrastructure behind the scenes. Every cloud!
