Oh and by Monday Tardis mugs as featured by David Tennant in the promo just afterwards and Meep stuffed toys will be all over the shops
Tennant meant it as well which made it more powerful. I'm hoping he's written out well in a future episode.and whilst I am not a fan when David Tennant said of Wilf ( Bernard Cribbins ) "I love that man " it nearly broke me coz I too loved that mans work from Right Said Fred through Tufty and the Wombles and Old Jacks Boat filmed near where I live. Derker just doesn't produce his like any more.
I've never seen that picture of Lalla before? Wow.
Blimey just felt a surge in my sonic screwdriver. Bring back raving sexism I say
I'm starting to think I'm outgrowing it.I thought it was painful viewing, just really poor. Two plus points, the new TARDIS interior, and David Tennant. The interior is what it could have been if they'd had a budget of more than £2500 per episode. David Tennant is probably the closest actor to Tom Baker, there were better actors as the Doctor, but these two are the character to a different level. Still think it's a mistake for DT to go back. The music including the theme were particularly bad I thought.
Just started season 15 on iPlayer, I wonder if they'll manage to reassemble the Key to Time? With the Fourth Doctor, Romana mk I and K9 mk ii on the case, the Black Guardian better watch out!
Ruined the theme. Completely ruined it.I thought it was painful viewing, just really poor. Two plus points, the new TARDIS interior, and David Tennant. It was always aimed at kids or at least families watching together. Think a lot of people forget that when they get older and watch it without kids.I'm starting to think I'm outgrowing it.
The show is being aimed at kids. RTD stated he's writing for 8 year olds to watch with their families. The binary/non binary scene felt exactly like that.
I have a feeling it will be rebranded again after these specials. The new theme is a mash up of the previous RTD era.
I suspect the next episode will be a monster in the shadows as a backdrop for a character piece involving just The Doctor and Donna and the last episode will be a full on nostalgia wankfest using the Toymaker as the tool to reintroduce it all. Davies has such a hard on for Neil Patrick Harris it's odds on he gets his musical number into his episode.
Then we move onto a different show/reboot on Christmas day.
A mate who watched it with his nephew said the same thing to me. He enjoyed watching it whilst his nephew was being churned emotionally with the story. It was always aimed at kids or at least families watching together. Think a lot of people forget that when they get older and watch it without kids.
No David Morrissey? If I had to put them in order of which I think were best as the doctor Probably from best to meh
Baker T
Pewtree

Eclestone
Capaldi

Smith
McGann
McCoy
Hartnel

Baker C
Troughton
Whittaker
Includer war and renegade doctor even though they are one off Doctors for a particular story/arc
Troughton is low as I have not really watched many and the ones I did I never really liked, whittaker was given fuck all good story and charactor style to work with, much like colin baker.
obviously top 3 I grew up with first and for me are the doctor of my childhood and early years of Who
