Love Alvarez but i don't know why Pep is reluctant to play Grealish there instead?

Because we defend/press in a 442 and that role has to press alongside Haaland. Grealish doesn’t have the attributes for it.

One central midfielder has to press relentlessly up top (KDB/Alvarez) and the other has to defend in a 2 man midfield next to Rodri (Bernardo/Kovacic/Nunes/Rico)

Grealish doesn’t fit in either role.
