Playing Rodri alone in Midfield is obviously not working. Alvarez needs to be dropped, Phil doesn't do enough on the wings and looks frustrated. Akanji cant play the Stones, disjointed and lethargic.
 
Defensively fucking wank.

Try to get back to basics.

Hopefully stones and Kev can stay fit.

Overall, this season has seen us play from the sublime to the ridiculous.

So far the transfer window is not living up to expectations and once that happens you drop a level.

Anyway, these players have given us so much and I can’t just forget that now we are struggling to dominate games. The amount of lost 50/50 is crazy.

Ref fucked up at the end but it would have only covered up the cracks. We can’t play games like basketball! We are all about control and the chavs game and spurs game have shown we don’t have any.

Interesting to see how we solve the issues.
 
Absolutely hopeless at both ends. We should have been out of sight at half time. 4 shots on target out of 18. And some were big chances. But at least in the first half we dominated. The second half was awful. Second to everything, controlled nothing. Defending awful. I wonder if the lack of Gundo means that Rodri is having to do more progressive work and its affecting his cover of the defence.

Incidentally, I knew this was going to be a tough game when I heard every podcast and Spurs fan discussing how many they were going to get beat by.

This team is shot. And let’s be honest does anyone expect Jack would have scored at the end.
Not enough quality in depth, a pretty awful summer transfer market, we cannot defend this season despite adding an 80 million defender and despite always being wasteful we are criminally wasteful this season. We cannot miss 2 to 3 sitters a game,

No way are we winning the PL this season with this squad, tactics and defending/finishing. Arsenal and Liverpool will both finish ahead of us as Arsenal look strong at both ends and Dippers have scorers through the team unlike us.

18 shots and just 4 on target, Spurs 4 on target and 3 goals, story of our season.

Simply not at it this season. 8 goals conceded in last 3 games, 11 in last 4 in all comps. Conceding goals late on: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and now spurs.

A lot can change over the course of the season, but thats 7 points chucked away right there. Two tricky away games next, one without Rodri. Really need to be careful we don’t drift further from the two in front over xmas as we know they’ll keep grinding through games.
 
Can’t blame the ref for the three goals we shipped. But that doesn’t change the fact we are refereed by fucking cheats. The club has to call this out.

Missed too many chances first half whilst playing well, fuck knows what the drop off in the second half was but that’s a prolonged period where we just look like we can’t close out a game.

With the two suspensions we really need to dig deep and grind out a result in Wednesday.

Utter shite from the ref, between the lack of advantage which was scandalous given the pause he made and the more subtle cheating of letting off Kulesevski with a stone wall yellow on Gvardiol 10 minutes before so that he could make a proper tactical foul on Grealish.

Will get skimmed over but it’s cheating in clear sight, cunts managing the “product”

Shocking refereeing at the end. But no glossing over another pretty ragged performance. Can’t keep the ball well enough, and look exposed every time we turn it over.
And let’s be right, they’re fairly shit at the moment. Like Chelsea, we should have wiped the floor with them.

Outplayed? We fucking twatted them in the first and could have bagged 5 goals. Were we fuck outplayed.
 
We didn’t win because our defence is fucking abysmal and we can’t score despite having the he best striker in the world who is missing fucking sitters for fun . Ref was shit but my god we are fucking shit atm
 
Will also say that our summer transfer window was a disgrace and hasn't helped Rodri at all.
