Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Frustrating day and the defensive shape certainly needs some attention. We have 9-10 players in the final third for some dead balls and I just can’t understand why

I am not going down the route of blaming the referee for the big mistake, He knew he fucked up alright.
But for the game and City ? Well it is clear as mud we need more players in the squad and the first team and that left back we have been missing for years. We looked burnt out after 60minutes again and the legs and minds are missing

We are down bare bones as a squad and Phillips does not get a game or comes off the bench, He has to be sold
and replaced, Sergio Gomaz is another one, Matheus Nunes never gets much game time, The time is right to spend some money in the next 2 windows and get this sorted,

Look we are still in a good place in the table and only 3 points behind after a couple of poor games.
We will be back to our best and a week in football is a long time and with midweek games could see us top
I don't want to think about the ref fuck up, but i genuinely can't call that a fuck up or human error. I've never recalled seeing a ref signal advantage, watch the pass be played and think fuck that's a real advantage and then blow to bring it it back! His family need forensics accountants going through every payment for the next 6 years because that couldn't have been incompetence but adhering to masters stated aim of a a different winner every 5 years.

Pep- I won’t make an Artega comment

Thats the issue, why not. It’s simply not acceptable and he should have said we will be demanding audio from the incident
Pep said in his interview not the reason for the draw and he is right. He’s been let down by the club in the transfer window imho. He will work out a solution always does.

Problem is if he did it would be another touchline ban. Saying that PGMOL don't make things easy for themselves either.

Sky glossing over the bent bald bastard incident by saying "everyone makes mistakes!"
But that's just an excuse. We are sick of the inconsistency in refereeing. There's no excuse for it. These are supposed to be the prime officials in the land.

Yes ref decision was shite but, I wouldn't have put money on Grealish scoring.
We should have been out of sight at half time.
Spurs got the point they deserved for their 2nd half effort.
3 draws and a lot of goals being shipped. Suspensions kicking in for the Villa game.
Pep's got to really earn his corn and start turning the ship around before we drift too far off the pace.
It'll be another great game for the neutral on Wednesday - let's hope we can find some form and nick it.

For me we are in a transition period, we have not replaced the players who have moved on with better or equally as good, January could be big for us but I have a feeling we’ll do big stuff next Summer.
Plus the new players are still adjusting to Pep and his styles of play. Rico is the one big plus and should start more often for me.
I’m sure we will get there with patience and hard work, Come on City!!
Let’s be honest we’ve had worse days.

On chances created we should have won.

Due to failing to control the game when we were in the lead,a draw was a fair result.

It’s no coincidence looking back that Gundogan was Pep’s first signing at City. He gave us the control in the middle of the park which we are now lacking. It will be asking a lot of Stones and/or De Bruyne on their return to try and consistently re-assert this control bearing in mind their injury records.

Some decent performance by spuds, given we are near January I think we should ask Levy how much is Udogie in the window.

I'll get me coat
