City charged by FA for failing to control players against Spurs

Fucking hell the club they normally ignore when we do well has now made the national headlines on itv. Mind you she got it wrong and said we've been fined, when we haven't we've been charged.

City charged for failing to control their players in the 94th minute v spuds.... quelle surprise.

Are we going to counter this with an accusation of the FA failing to provide a decent referee?
There is a "surprise" they haven't charged Haaland, and seem to have said no other punishment.

We have until Thursday to answer the charge, it should be quite simple, "fuck off pgmol/fa".

Dont you think Arteta had a bigger over reaction and i m sure it went un noticed.

If so, double standards.
Arteta was charged, but it's a different offence - one that Haaland and Pep managed to avoid.

As far as I can see, Arsenal were charged four times last season for surrounding the ref, United three times, Liverpool once, and ourselves once. Liverool and Arsenal were both charged for doing it in games against City.

Next time this happens, cos it will.
Forget singing ‘your not fit to referee’
Instead sing ‘we know what you are, you corrupt bastard, we know what you are’
The club can apologise later cos we sung a nasty word.
The way our club treats fans they'd volunteer to play a few games without supporters.

Was nailed on. Can’t really complain about it.

Let’s see what happens to Webb or Hooper.

If Webb hasn’t the guts to sack him he should go.
The ref made an awful decision. Thought he refereed the rest of the game well.bit harsh to sack him on one bad decision though. Particularly when all the referees seem to be of the same, or poorer standard. Who are we going to replace them with?

Perhaps we should use our "vast team of lawyers" to counter-sue PiGMOL for failing to appoint a competent referee

I am not sure he will be ref at any game at the Etihad anytime soon but when he does I am sure we will remind him we have not forgot!

I'll put my helmet on and get low in the trenches.

I've no problem with City being charged. The decision was awful and whilst I understand the player's frustrations, I don't think you can approve of players harassing officials like that

I've copied this picture from the post match thread. Forget the wording. Is this the sort of example players, as idols and heroes, should be giving to young players? There is a massive problem in youth football with pushy parents, and players, giving dogs abuse, and physical assaults, to officials week in week out. How can the FA ever stop this if they don't punish clubs when they step over the line?

It’s shit but not a shock

I’m just surprised none of the players have been charged rather than just the club.. which would have damaged us much much more
