Coming to fruition how shit of how bad of a transfer we had in summer, apart from Doku every other player has been shite. Maybe first season syndrome but for the money we’ve paid they need to hit ground running straight away. Kovacic signing utterly bizzare as time has gone on after how performed for Chelsea. It's probably the worst form we've been in for around 5 years....mind you take out Gundo, De Bruyne and Mahrez you are never going to be as strong. Our main problem is we are so thin on the ground now. We always used to have a squad with 2 great players in every position. Now we have very little depth and injuries and suspensions hits us hard. We should still have enough to beat the likes of Luton though so a big half needed now...come on City.

Always been it for me, an earlier release but I always wonder and ask myself if it’s tactical. First or second season, it went from back to front so quickly. Yes, those times have gone but for the fact that it’s normal to hold on for longer, I always think it’s tactical.

Phil is one of a few, and Rico that can’t curb his instincts once he gets on the turn.

We haven’t played much without Haaland lately, so one wonders how much training in this formation there will have been. The build up play has been exemplary but there looks to be a little reticence in the final third, as if some are shirking the responsibility onto someone else. That just encourages people to shoot aimlessly from outside the box.
