Luton Town (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Well played lads you got there and grafted

still too many stupid passes/handballs/wrestling giving away free kicks and corners near the end hut we got away with it. I’m looking at you two Dias and Walker pair of dickheads sometimes.

Rodri is so dominant on the pitch he’s like prime Yaya now but has more athletisiscm and even with his drive forward and created the shooting chance for Bernie.

Special mention for Kovacic. Didnt make any mistakes as far as i saw, did his job well after no football for ages.

Ake showing why he should be in the team in these difficult away games. So good defending corners and free kicks.

Thank fuck for that. Ref was defo gonna let play carry on if we didnt have the ball. Still lots of work to do but the result is all that matters.

Jacky Boy gets his winning goal.

Scrappy performance against a shithouse team. Still some players not playing at their best, defence is still 'collar-grabbingly' questionable, but hopefully this is the bad spell over with and we can push on and play like the Champions we are.

Played well first half but let in a soft goal, fought back well second half. Showed a lot of spirit under the pressure of having to win
The non-winning run is over. A win at home to Palace next week and we're right in the title fight. The chance to win some silver ware the week after should fill us with confidence too.

Can't believe how many moaning bastards there were on the match thread.

This can still be another great season for us. Get behind your team.

Come in you blues!

Happy with that, just wanted the 3 points and we showed character to turn it around

Say what you want about Luton but every team that's gone to their stadium has had to work hard this season.

Cant say it was enjoyable. Result was what it was about today!! Back to the old days, all the ball and most of the chances and we concede to the oppositions first real shot against the run of play.

Least we turned it around today so credit there!! Were a mile off still for me tho!!

Fook off

Battling performance against a poor side who were encouraged to be physical by an inept ref who let an awful lot go - although he was happy to pull City up for the slightest infringement. The Brown foul was a red in my view but he actually escaped any punishment. Who was on VAR ?

Was always going to be tough this and I thought we were average at best first half. Bit of quality got us back into it and we held on to take all three. Very important to get this one over the line and hopefully can now get out of the rut we’ve been in. Too late for the title however as the dippers and tarquins have both won it already. Oh well, mind the gap
