Spot-on. TNT wouldn't have made this comment about any other British team. The underlying message is clear. It is also a total distortion because last year we drew Seville and Dortmund in the group, then beat Bayern, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan. Couldn't have been tougher. The content is twisted to suit a dishonest narrative. And all this was done by a broadcaster which is supposed to be promoting its own coverage of the CL....not undermining it.

I watched Pep's post match press conference this morning and the difference with ones here was really noticeable.

Firstly all non english reporters congratualted him on the win and after that they were all really respectful. There were even some decent questions. You don't want people blowing smoke up your arse all the time, but they realised they were getting to watch up close a special team and a manager and were grateful for it.

Maybe it was because the usual suspects weren't there.

Been mentioned many times on the forum,it’s not just hacks writing negative articles about City off their own back,they are being paid by certain clubs to continue and drip feed with said articles,let’s see if we win on Friday evening what comes out to counter that we are world champions,and worse the full on coverage if we lose,it’s clear and obvious..

I’m convinced of this but there would need to be a money trail. If only there was a real investigative journalist rather than client journalists to look into this.

Sam Wallace so no suprise, been a clueless prick since his independant days, thats why sunday supliment always had him on, because he knows fuckall beyond his own opinion.
 
Remember a few years ago when certain BM forum members who have now come around to the obvious, accused those of us who were calling this out as being paranoid and deluded. It’s actually got worse since then, and since City won 3 PL titles on the run, won the CL, and did the treble.

Imagine your brain being so hard wired to being a contrary **** that you refuse to believe that we get the worst coverage, in fact not just the worst but the most disrespectful coverage of any successful club of the premier league era.
Every single media outlet puts caveats when talking about us but no, some simpleton on here will argue otherwise. We’ve been shit on from above, and when I say above I mean some fucknuckle who’s decided City being bad is a good story to run on.
We deserve so much more.

The media agenda is to allow for the corruption. Outrage for poor Everton & outrage that City still haven’t been relegated but if they are destroyed & all their assets taken it’s perfectly ok, just like invading a nation & stealing its oil.
